As you walked down the street to the marketplace you stopped to by some flowers. It was Valentine's Day and you're boyfriend dumped you telling you that he had been playing you the whole time.
It still hurt you but you held you're head up high and made you're way into the flower shop where you bumped into you're good friend....

You didn't want to say it out publicly but you have had a crush on him for a while even when you were dating you're ex boyfriend
"H-hi Avdol, what brings you h-here?" You asked
"Oh good to see you y/n I was just in here buying flowers for a special someone"
You were confused and not to mention hurt, he would have told you if he liked someone and you were slightly upset that you didn't have a chance.
"O-oh um, who?" You nosely asked
"You'll see" he said with a smirk
Now you were even more confused "you'll see" what's that supposed to mean.
Later on that same night you got a call from no other then Avdol
"Hey y/n I was wondering, would you like to accompany me at the big Valentines parade at 5" he asked
"Yeah" you said getting nervous
As you got ready and got to the parade you saw Avdol, he was waiting for you and when he saw you he smiled and waved.
"Y/n you look very nice"
You blushed
"Thank you"
As you all talked and sometimes danced, you got to know him better.
"Y/n?" He said
"Yes" you said
He reached behind his back and pulled out the flowers from earlier that you saw him buy.
"Happy Valentine's Day y/n I love you and I have for a while now"
You were shocked but quickly gained your senses.
"I love you to...." you said
You both leaned in and slowly kissed in the beautiful sunset as fireworks went off.
