At a University campus students walk by, going to their classes, or simply going home wishing they chose to study business instead of biology. As the heads in the university halls start to decrease; one particular student walks alone towards her favorite room on campus. The old recording studio in the basement was tucked away and locked off. Jeon Heejin, a second-year music major was reaching in her bag to get the keys her Professor gave her until she hears someone coming. Quickly she tries to hide pressing herself against the nearest wall.
"Oh Heejin, it's just me." The approaching student says.
Heejin finally lets out a breath and smiles at him. "Hey Soobin, you scared me for a sec though you were a security guard or something." She fixes her hair as he looks out for anyone.
"Oh sorry, sometimes I forget Professor Kim gave you a key too. Well anyway, I gotta go. I have an exam in ten minutes, wish me luck." He rushed out as he walked away from her raising his fists up with Heejin doing the same.
"Good luck, bye." She smiled at him again until he was out of sight.
Once in the room, she set down her things and adjusted her guitar and microphone. Ever since she was a kid she wanted to sing. Her sister also wanted to be a singer but didn't achieve her dream. Seeing how unhappy her sister was getting a degree and job in something she didn't love only encouraged Heejin to work twice as hard to reach her goal. She strummed her guitar and sang a couple of songs before packing up and going home.
Walking into her home she was greeted by the smell of her mom's amazing food. "Mm, mom I'm home!" She yelled as she took off her shoes.
"Heejin sweetie, how was school." Her mom asked as Heejin walked into the kitchen giving her mom a quick hug and heading over to the fridge.
"It was alright, finished some homework in the studio," Heejin explained before gulping down the water she just poured for herself. Her sister walks into the kitchen and grabs a banana from the fruit bowl on the counter.
"Heej I texted you like three times to tell me when you were coming, I needed you to get me shampoo from the store." Heejin's sister complains, peeling the banana slowly then taking a bite.
"Sorry, my phone is- my phone," Heejin pats her pockets and jacket searching for her phone unable to find it, "Wait where's my phone." She rushed to get her bag, taking out all it's contents to find her phone.
"Ooh, mom looks like Heej lost her phone." her sister called out evilly smirking. Their mother appeared out of the kitchen with a worried face.
"Sweety, where's the last time you had it?" She asked gently trying to get Heejin to calm down. Heejin stopped for a moment thinking, while her mom rubbed circles on her back with her hand.
"What the, how come you don't yell at her like you did to me when I lost my phone?" Heejin's sister huffed, crossing her arms.
"Because you've lost or broken three phones already, now go check if the food's ready." Heejin's mom replied, waving her daughter away before turning her focus back on her panicking daughter.
"Heej maybe you left it in the studio. You could go get it if you want," Heejin's head shot up at her mom as if she remembered something.
"I put it to charge in there, I probably forgot it." Heejin remembered.
"See, okay take your sister so she won't complain about her shampoo anymore." Her mother stood up walking to the kitchen once more before Heejin's sister walked out with a grin on her face.
