In the search for the pixie-guarded coins, Jack Grey surprises even himself with his patience and skill as a actor.
During his travels, Jack rescues a knife, an heirloom belonging to Zoe. But when Zoe refuses to try jumping, their friendship is over.
However, Zoe is wounded at the Battle of Blenheim and the two reconcile just before Jack engages in some serious jumping.
Jack accepts one of the three curvy coins and returns home to his tent a very wealthy wizard.
