"FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT." The crowd cheered deafening me.Oh Lord.. Are we seriously doing this?
"So what are you going to do about it?" The blondie pushed me. Right as I was about to reply, someone pushed me on her causing juice to spill all over her shirt and mash potatoes to cover her back.
The crowd gasped, and I turned around to see who it was. Nathan. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" I hissed gritting my teeth. "Umm.. Doing you a favor," he stated shrugging. "Ahhhhh!" I heard a scream from behind.Teachers rushed into the cafeteria dragging both Barbie and me to the principal's office. I swear I'm going to kill that Nathan guy. Now I'm going to be involved in a problem because of his ass.
We were both standing in the principal's office being lectured on our misbehavior and that we can't come back to school without our parents. I was about to argue back, but the principal's phone rang. She answered it and calmed down. Suddenly, we were both dismissed from the office being told that we're forgiven.
I was puzzled, and Barbie stomped her way to the bathroom in order to get the rest of the mash potatoes out of her back. I turned to my heels but found Nathan leaning on the doorframe. "You owe me.." He smirked. I clenched my fists "I OWE YOU A SLAP!" I snapped at him and was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand. "You'll thank me later.." He whispered not breaking eye contact. I removed my hand from his grip and walked away muttering "you wish."
I thanked God I didn't have a tutor lesson today. The rest of the school day was normal.. No wait. Abnormal and strange. Miss Barbie here has found a new interest in my face, which she keeps glaring at.
Daniel drove us back home. The ride was silent-the comfortable kind of silent. I jabbed the keys into the doorknob and turned it. I pushed the door open and entered the house followed by Daniel.
Emily greeted us with teary eyes. Daniel and I rushed over to her and asked her what was wrong. "You sillies. I'm just cutting some onions for lunch." I glanced beneath her hands, and onions lay there. She ruffled both of our hairs and patted our backs as we pranced up the stairs and into our rooms each doing one's own business..

Later that day, Michael walked in from work a tad bit late. Daniel, Emily, and I were gathered in the living room watching some family movie. "Good afternoon." Michael greeted as he took his keys out of the doorknob, but he didn't shut the door just yet. "I have a surprise," Michael smiled stepping out of the door in order to grab something.
He came back in with the cutest Golden Retriever ever. Daniel and I rushed over to the tiny puppy and caressed its back. "It's only 3 months old," Michael looked at it with affection, meanwhile Emily wasn't really satisfied with its presence. "Honey, it needs too much attention and responsibility I-" she started looking around, but Michael interfered. "Don't worry. It won't bother you and I'm sure we're all going to take care of it okay?" He assured her planting his hands on her shoulders.
"May I take it out on a walk please?" I asked for permission at least to just for the sake of getting out of this house. "But we don't have a leash Cassandra.." Emily objected just as Michael took out a leash from the same box he took out the dog. "Seems like someone has been extra ready for the surprise.." Emily grinned and patted her husband's back rubbing circles.
"So may I take it out now?" I asked again. They nodded, and I went up into my room to pick a more suitable outfit. I changed my clothes and went downstairs.
The whole family was sitting there peacefully watching a TV show. I looked at them for a split second before coming into view. "Don't be late Cassandra," Michael demanded glancing at the watch. I just wanted to get out a little bit. "What do you guys want to call it?" Emily stopped me right before I twist the doorknob. Everyone was silent for a while pondering.
