"jihoon, we're heading out to eat lunch."
i lifted my head up, pushing away the pile of papers that were stuffed on my face. it was soonyoung.
"go on."
i only nodded, not sparing him a glance. he hums, leaving me alone again as i heard the door click echo in the studio.
'
"jihoon, i bought you food."
i could hear his footsteps get louder, feeling his presence become more noticeable. soonyoung placed a plastic bag on my table, slightly bending down to see the expression on my face.
"i'll eat it later."
i mumbled, nudging the item he placed on my table. i couldn't afford to waste my time on food when we're here, stuck at the bottom.
working harder is what i should be focusing on.
'
"jihoon, i made matching bracelets for the group, here's yours!"
"leave it there."
'
"jihoon, i wanna show you my choreo!"
"later."
'
"jihoon, you should take a break."
"i can't. i need to be better."
'
"jihoon-"
"not now."
'
"jihoon."
"soonyoung... just... leave me alone, will you?"
the first few times were bearable. as much as i appreciated his presence, especially how he was the only one to check on me, my emotions couldn't be bottled any more.
"i'm sorry."
