I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door.
After 10 seconds, the door opened, revealing Kyla, Kiel's older sister.
"Oh, hey, come in. Tawagin ko lang sila."
(Oh, hey, come in. I'll just call them.)
I nodded and went inside their house.
I smelt the same scent that I liked everytime I would walk inside.
Their house was very beautiful, kind of similar to our living room, very light colored and elegant.
I walked to the sofa and sat down while pulling out my phone.
After a minute, I heard my best friend's voice from the stairs.
"Heyyo. How you doing?"
He said with an American accent which made me cringe.
"Ew, nagkita tayo kahapon. What the f man?"
(Ew, we just saw each other yesterday. What the f man?)
He pouted and sat down on the sofa beside me.
"Whatever. I heard na fi-nallow ka ni Jess sa Instagram? Yung nerd na yun?"
(Whatever. I heard that Jess followed you in Instagram? That nerd?)
I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Who cares? Di ko siya i-fofollow. Kadiri na nun."
(Who cares? I won't follow her. That's really gross.)
I said while looking through my feed.
Then, I thought of posting something.
"Yah, mag-popost ako. In ka?"
(Yah, I'll be posting something. You in?)
He nodded as we posed and took a picture.
