"I FORGOT HOW long it took to get up here" daisy spoke clearly out of breath.
"Daisy I'm going to take a wild guess here and say you don't exercise very often" James cringed holding back a laugh at her exhausted face
"yeah no shit" she replied with a blank face
"what!" he yelled, catching the attention of a couple of their classmates "you swear?" he spoke more quietly this time "I feel like I just made a revelation, I am literally in shock" he put a hand over his heart, seemingly looking to catch his breath
daisy laughed at his reaction
"by the way, do we just sip tea and flip tarot cards here? I never really listened in third year" she asked. looking at the tower of teacups on her left
"basically" he shrugged "but every once in awhile professor Trelawney tells one of us that we're going to meet our soulmate in a day or we're gonna die in six hours" he stopped to think "there's never anything in between, a bit odd really" saying the last part more to himself than Daisy.
Daisy widened her eyes "oh merlin, well I hope I just find out if I'll get a papercut this week and not my death date."
"I think we all hoped that at one stage but, like some probably famous author once said, 'we don't always get want we want'"
she nodded laughing "well said James"

"she just kept going on about how the starts guided me here like no I just didn't want to listen to a ghost talk about every bloody magical school" daisy complained
"oh come on daisy it can't have been that bad" lily reasoned
"Trust me it was" James laughed "she was gripping her teacup so hard I thought it was gonna shatter at some point."
Daisy chuckled "but I mean I guess it's better than history of magic"
"well if you ask me, history of magic is better then listening to someone who is slightly insane telling you you're gonna die alone" peter interjected
the group laughed
"I don't know about you wormtail but professor Trelawney kept telling me about how lucky I'd get with my love life" Sirius announced proudly
