Chapter 8

Skylar's POV

I think everyone knows the pain. Not just pain. THE pain. The pain. Yea, that pain. Ughhhhhhh I got changed into sleep shorts and a tank top. I went into my room and started watching TV until everyone came inside. They must all be confused bc only Syd really saw what happened. They all really just saw me come inside. She smirked as she walked passed me and I just give her this look -----> 😒. Soon after we couldn't keep our serious faces on so we started laughing. We heard a loud noise from downstairs and we walked down to find........

Cameron's POV

I don't know what happened. We were playing volleyball and I spiked it and Sky got out and left. I just shrugged it off, she probably just had to go to the bathroom or something. We continued playing until Sydney wanted to go inside so we all did. While we walked in, Hayes' shirt got stuck on the sliding glass door and he fell forward and knocked over a picture of Me, Syd, and Sky. Around it the frame said "forever". That was one of my birthday presents from them. They both came running down the stairs and Syd helped Hayes up and Sky picked up the frame, and I was about to stop her, but it dropped from her hand and she screamed. I looked up at her hand to see blood running down it.

Sydney's POV

I was helping Hayes up when I saw Sky bleeding......badly. I finished helping him up and tried to get closer to Sky, but Cam wouldn't let me, he ran over and told us there was a piece of glass stuck in it. He told us to get the first aid kit and then he soon realized that we had to go to the hospital. "CALL 9-1-F*CKING-1" (see what I did there 😏)

Matthew grabbed the phone and called and I gave him all of her information. The ambulance arrived and they removed the glass and wrapped her hand up. They left after we thanked them and I looked at Hayes. He was really sad bc he felt it was his fault. It kinda was, but I'd never tell him that.

"Hey, it's okay."

"No it's not. I smashed your picture, and the glass cut Sky open. If I would've never tripped, she would be fine. Damn! Why do I have to be so clumsy all the time?"

"Hayes, she's fine. She's too dramatic sometimes and so is Cam."

"That doesn't change anything. I still hurt her. And now Cam is mad at me."

"Well Cam can KMA."

"Haha. Thanks Syd. This means a lot."

"Anytime my fraaannddd" I said in a southern accent

We both laughed

Cameron's POV

I thanked the EMS people and they left. I was pretty mad at Hayes, but it really wasn't his fault. Oh no. First Sydney, than Sky, and I'm next.

Matthew's POV

"Hey Syd?"

"Yea?"

"Can I have....."
