Chapter 9

Pisces's POV
I tried to talk to Scorpio.
"Hey, Scorpio! ", I said.
"Oh hi, Pisces! "
"Um my partner is Taurus"
"That's great "
I was silent after that.
"Can I be your best friend? ", I asked.
"I already have one."
I did not expect to hear these kinds of replies at all from Scorpio. I begin to go from there but Scorpio stops me.
"You can be my best friend, um second best friend "
"Okay", I smiled. At least his second best friend but who is his first. Is it Capricorn? Yeah, definitely.

No one's POV
Aries and Gemini tries to practice. They fail each time to do the moves.
"All because of you. This time I'm gonna win", Aries said.
"When did you win even? Aquarius and Leo are the prize winners mostly and you never won", Gemini said.
"Oh really. This time not even a chance for me to win instead I will lose because of you"
Gemini got angrily disgusted. 'I don't know why I like him', she thought.

Virgo and Capricorn were doing it good. They were doing really nice where Aries was sending an evil eye to them.
'Get your moves in vain', Aries muttered.

Aquarius was doing it nice. Sagittarius was did good after few practices.
"What if we apply this move? ", Aquarius asked to their dance teacher.

Taurus was not so good at dance but he tried to do it good. Pisces giggled, "You look very cute and adorable "
"And you're so sweet ", Taurus smiled.

Leo was good at dancing but Cancer was too sensitive to handle. He could see Libra and Scorpio from afar. But he chose to do better than them.
"Cancer, you have to do your best to win the prize. I need to win. I'm not for the second position.", Leo said to her.

Libra asked Scorpio, "Why aren't you interested? "
"These all are dumb moves "
"You are saying like you're the expert "
Scorpio said, "Did you remember you danced with a guy and I danced with a girl in our 3rd grade?"
"How do you remember in detail? "
"I remember everything "
He continued, "I won and you were in the fourth position "
"Yeah, I remember somewhat"
"Do you remember the dance steps? "
"Yeah somewhat "
"I'll make you remember. I'll add some more into that. Let's do it and make it unique"
"Brilliant idea, Scorpio "
They gave high-five.

At the weekend, the dance competition is held (after 7 days of announcement).

"At first, Aries and Gemini "
Their performance was very nice. But Aries made it little faster than Gemini.

"Next, Taurus and Pisces "
"Aaww!", everyone.
"They look so cute, together ", somebody said.
"They're getting comments. All are liking their sensual moves", Aquarius said.

"Next is Cancer and Leo"
Leo was very confident but Cancer's confidence was shaky. They somehow did better than the formers ones.

"Virgo and Capricorn "
"Booo!!!", everyone.
Not nice. All did put thumbs down at them. Capricorn was very angry with that.
"During practice we did so well.", Virgo said.
"I don't know, who evil eyed us", Capricorn said.

"Next, Scorpio and Libra "
"Die, Scorpio!! Die! ", Leo shouted. Thankfully, Scorpio didn't hear.

Scorpio and Libra did very well. They have topped everyone now. Everybody loved it.

"And last but not the least, Aquarius and Sagittarius!!!! "

They did so well together that it seems like a tie with Libra and Scorpio. Now let's see who wins in the final round. Here everyone have to dance together. Marks will be counted both for duets and solos.

All started throwing their own moves. Taurus starts doing the robotics. Accidentally Leo pushes Aries and when Aries turns, he sees Taurus and he pushes Taurus back. Due to this, Taurus falls on Cancer and put a kiss on her nose. Both of them blush madly.

Leo is noticing Scorpio that how good he is going. These two starts doing debates.

Pisces, Libra, Aquarius and Virgo goes nice whereas Gemini is dancing like she's in a party. Capricorn is no more interested. Sagittarius is dancing like he is drunk.

And the song stops. Aries falls on Pisces. Gemini stops with a beautiful smile. Taurus and Cancer are still blushing. Apart from them, everyone stops with a nice pose. But Libra's one of her heel breaks and she falls upon Scorpio, making Leo to win. Leo sees them and gets really jealous.

"So the marks will be declared now"

For duets:

Scorpio and Libra shares the dance trophy. Leo enjoys his solo dance trophy.

"The next weekend, we'll have sports competition and many more games and adventures", the Principal announced.

"Hey, Leo! Congrats! "
"Thanks Gemini"
Everyone hugged Leo. Libra hugged him and said, "Congrats! "
"You too", he said.
Everyone congratulated Libra and Scorpio too.

At the canteen,
Libra said, "It's only because of you that I won"
"Thanks "
"But sorry you could have won the solo also if I didn't fall on you"
"That's okay. Leo had a good luck, anyways"
