The Avenger games(An Avenger and Hunger game cross over) *On Hold*

Chapter 2

"Dad" cried Lucy.

Loki soothed the best he could. But Lucy was still crying up a storm. Loki looked at his daughter in the eyes and dried her tear that slipped down her face.

"Lucy" he said standing up.

   Lucy stood up too and Mason walked over to his sister's side. Loki sighed and handed them a duffle bag. Lucy shook the bag and opened it. She was shocked when she saw her Dad's Scepter in the bag with some heal cream and a bow(A bow and arrow but no arrows). Mason was shocked too when he saw his Dad's magic spell book with a pair of knifes. The two siblings looked up at their father and then back at the stuff.

"Dad....."

"Its stuff the will help you when your out there" sighed Loki.

"T-This is amazing" said Mason.

Loki looked at his two children with worry.

"Mason.....Lucy..." He said.

Mason and Lucy looked at their dad in question.

"Yes, what?" asked Mason.

Loki put his hands on both their shoulders and his eyes were filled with fear and sorrow.

"Promise me something" he said.

"Sure, anything" said Lucy.

"Promise me, that you two will stick together" he said "Don't fight each other, Fight for each other"

A man in black came in the room and looked at Loki. Loki turned around and then looked at his kids as the guard grabbed his arm.

"Stick together no matter what" said Loki as he was dragged out of the room.

The door shut and Lucy and Mason stood in shock. Mason looked over at his sister and put his hand on her shoulder. Lucy looked up at him,

"Lucy" he said "We have to win this, for dad.....for mom"

   Lucy smiled and hugged her brother. The door opened and a man showed them out and onto a train. That would be the last time Lucy and Mason would see their father, unless they both survived the Avenger games. Each year there are only three winners and hopefully Lucy and Mason would be in those two spots and come home again. The train sped off and Mason and Lucy were shown into a huge nice room with a T.V. in it. They sat down on the couch and the lights went dark. A man came out, the same man who drew their names. He pressed a button on a remote he had in his hand.

"These are the other competitors you'll be fighting" he said turning the T.V. on.

Mason and Lucy watched the clips of each district having a boy and girl, forced into the disgusting game of death. After it had shown who she and Mason would be up against the man sighed.

"You two will be very important-"

"We know" snapped Lucy "We will represent our Bistrict and our Father and all that blah-blah nonsense"

The man was quite taken back at Lucy's attitude. Lucy frowned and held the bag Loki had given to her tightly. 

"We are almost to New York" said the man.

Mason looked at his sister worried as she refused to talk.

"Do you need anything?" he asked.

Mason looked at the man then back at Lucy. She shook her head and Mason sighed.

"No, were good for now" he said.

"Well let me know if you need anything, my name is nick fury" he said before leaving them alone, in silence.

"Lucy" asked Mason "A-are you going to be fine?"

She gave a slow nod.

"Y-yes" she stuttered "I-I think so, a-after I get over the shock of this"

He smiled. Mason had his dad's beautiful smile that every girl swoons over. Lucy gave a weak smile, because her brother's smile always made her giggle.

"There's my sister" he said as Lucy giggled.

She smiled "She had a bit of a mental cramp"

"A mental cramp?"

"Yes, I was going through some mental issues because were going to be apart of the Avenger games" she said,

"Hey" said Mason "If we want to make the other competitors fear us, then we have to show up like we wanted to be here and we are proud"

"So that they'll target us?" asked Lucy "That’s a wonderful plan" She said sarcastically.

"Shut up" he said playfully "no....so that they'll know where no force to be messed with"

Lucy sighed. She didn't necessarily like Mason's 'Plan' for the games.

"Hey, if we don't act all bad and all that like dad, they'll think we're weak and kill us off first. The weaker ones get picked off first" said Mason.

Lucy paused, thinking about Mason's words.

"Okay" said Lucy "We'll act like we own the place"

"Oh yeah" he said.
