"Okay, Lucy Laufeyson" Boomed a voice in the back.

Lucy gulped as she walked into the spacious room, this is where they were to be evaluated for their skill. She picked up her dads sceptar that they were going to let her use during the real battle. A group of people stood in a small, very visible room at the celing of the room. It was over looking everything in the room which made Lucy nervous that she'd mess up or something. She wish she would have known things before her fathers attemped take over and what the world really was like before this crule game held every year. She tightly gripped the sceptar in ehr hands and walked out nervous. She saw many people staring at her and observing her carefully as she walked. She stood on the red X in which each participant were to stand on and introduce their name, age, and district.

Lucy cleared her throat and looked up at them "I amd Lucy Lokison, I am fourteen years old and am in District seven" She said.

They didn't even budge to glance at her. They started to talk as she tried to gain their attention. She did all her battle moves she knew and still nothing. She grew angry and clutched the sceptar in her hand and shot out a blue light which hit into the room and nailed one of the apples, but not all. She had good aim and caught their attention quickly. She glared at them and hissed out an angry breath "Glad to know that the odds are in my favor today" she hissed. And with that, she turned around and left, leaving all the spectators shocked and horrified at what they had witnissed

"Are you serious?!" asked Mason shocked with what his sister had done in the obervation room. He seemed more proud than angry "Father's going to be so proud!"

"They weren't paying attention to me at all" she said "So i felt as if it were right"

The clock dinged at the 12 o' clock mark. Mason looked at his sister and sighed "Well, they should be broadcasting our ranks now"

"I wonder how well you did" she asked sitting down as he turned on the T.V.

He didn't reply, he just stared at the screen of the T.V. hopping that he would have a high rank. Meanwhile, All the Avengers and Loki watched nervously at each of their T.V. screens, hopping that their Child's evaluation would be high.

"The long and most impatient part of the competition is now over, the ranks of our tributs hich are ranked from a scale from one to ten, ten being the highest, are now here, each one tried their hardest to impress our panle of judges so here they are..." said the Announcer.

Everyone, The Tributes, Avengers and Loki watched with their heart racing and pounding hard as they awaited the jugement of each of the tributes.

"From Disctrict one, we have Athena Thorson who has been ranked from a scale from one to ten, an 8, Zeus Thorson has been ranked a number 9" he announced. Thor's pressure relaxed a bit as his children were somewhat high in rank. "From District two, we have Sofia Stark who ranked a 6 and Brett Goldburg who ranked a 5" Tony was a bit dissapointed that his daughter got a low rank but not too low so he couldn't be too upset after all "From District three, we have Megan Banner who ranked a 4 and Austen Shaffer who ranked a 6" Bruce knew that Megan couldn't have shown her real self, other wise she would have gotten a 12 or higher with her rage she inherited from him "From District four, we have Bailey Steves who ranked a 7 and Ryker Rogers who ranked a 9" Steve couldn't have been more thrilled that his son almost got a 10 from the ranking. He could only now pray that he were to survie the games with his skill from his father "From District five, we have Eliza Barton who ranked a 8 and Tom Barton who ranked a 3" Clint knew that Tom had always had his noses in the book and never wanted to work out, he barley shot a bow and arrow and would rarley work out, so Clint knew that this was coming. "From District Six, we have Tallie Romanof who ranked a 8 and Steven Howard who ranked a 5" Natasha was proud that her daughter got a pretty good rank for her age. Being young at 13 years old, it was a shocker that she was put so high "And last but not least, From District seven Mason Lokison who ranked a 8 and Lucy Lokison wh-wait, this can't be! Lucy has been ranked higher than ten! This is the first time in history that a tribute has ever gotten higher than ten, her ranking is a 12 so she will be one tough cookie to get rid of out there" Loki was shaking, his own daughter, broke the reacord of being the highest ranked tribute ever. He didn't expect that. he was shocked as ever. He knew with her great skill that she might win, but having her at such a high rank will have her targeted by others to be taken down first. Lucy could barley breath. Mason was in shock too. None of them had ever expected this.

"Oh....my....god" she managed to say.

"You are the highest ranked tribute! Lucy this is wonderful!" exclaimed Mason joyfully.

"But.....now i'm a walking target for others to take down first" she said.

"So tomorrow, let the games begin and we hope that the odd will be ever in your favor" said the T.V. announcer.

"T-Tomorrow?!" asked Lucy shocked.

"Yes" Sighed Mason "We have to do good out there, if we don't we'll die"

"Mason, i want to go home alive with you at my side" she said getting teary eyed/

"Don't worry" he said "i will always be with you"

She nodded and smiled. "We need to talk about stratagy, it will be basically a death battle in the supply area when they start the games..." She said.

"Yes" he smiled "We head up to the mountain's and form and allience with a few others" he said.

"but.....won't that be a death trap?" she asked.

"Lucy we need to help the ones who need to go home" he said.

"But isn't that everyone" she asked.

She shook his head "Nope, most people here are to prove a point to their families"

"Oh....." was all that came out of lucy's mouth.

"Get some rest, the games will start tomorrow" he said.

Thats it, it may be the last time they'll see eachother again. A blood battle awaited them in the morrow as the Avenger games was to finally begin........
