Saiouma
Love bug- jack stauber

This song just radiates so much saiouma energy.

I think about it as saihara's perspective of ouma in love across the universe.
In the main game, saiouma could not and wouldn't have worked because of a lack of understanding between the two, which is what ouma's route in love across the universe is centered around.

In love across the universe, the best option/route to take with ouma is to accept ouma as he is instead of trying to change him. Ouma seems to value an unchanging self as in, if someone cannot accept or work with you with your flaws there is no point and it would be selfish to want someone to change themselves for you, to please you. That's why the best ouma route is accepting him as a liar.

There's a big scene where we get to witness ouma's most inner thoughts where he considers to stop lying all for saihara and then ponders whether he could get saihara to love his lies, the worst possible option is to agree that he should change completely because, to ouma, if he is willing to change what he stated/considers his way of life, for you and you are unwilling to do the same, there is no reason for him to continue any relationship as saihara in that case would be inconsiderate towards ouma's feelings. Ouma tells him outright to change his way of thinking and that he is selfish and arrogant if he thinks others should change for him.

By the end of love across the universe, ouma acknowledges that saihara does not know anything about him and says that they should continue the relationship after they graduate. The point of ouma's route was not to know more about him or his past because that would not matter until the two come to a mutual understanding and appreciation of each other's faults.

That is where I believe the main game saiouma fails, the two will never come to a mutual understanding so saihara will always regard him as "the friend he could trust the least".
