Makayla

"So I know you know that you're father and I were big rivals," my dad spoke after taking a sip of his water. Austin nodded listening intently. "But I would like to change that with you, I see you as a son practically and I would like to offer a truce. I will not come after you and with that I would expect you to treat me the same."
"So all I'm getting out of this is you not coming after me?" Austin scoffs sitting back into his chair as he stirs his water with his straw and looks over at me. I look down at my skirt and begin to play with the ruffles nervously.
"No, I am also offering my daughter. You stay away from my business and open communications with me I will in turn give you my daughters hand in marriage and I will back off of your business."
"And your okay with this? You would actually marry me? Because I'm pretty sure you said you hated me the other day at the art Galla." Austin asked shocked. I nodded.
"Yes I would." I replied faking a smile.
"Well as long as you're okay with this then I guess you have a deal," Austin said to my father, then he directed his attention towards me. "But if I feel at any point in time that you aren't okay with this the deals off. I don't want to make you feel like you have to do this."
"Don't worry you won't have too." I say.
"Then it's settled in one week she shall move in with you." My father says after a moment of silence, Austin nods in agreement. I almost choke on my water but I pass it off as a cough. That was never part of the deal, I only had one week left of my normal life.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow was the day I had to move in with Austin. I was extremely nervous. What if I screw up this plan? What if he calls off the deal?
I rake my fingers through my hair repeatedly. Taking a deep breathe I finished putting my makeup on and made my way downstairs to find a flurry of action.
Austin and his people had arrived and he was talking to my father. Once he saw me he smiled and made his way toward me.
"Good morning," he said kissing my cheek. I felt my stomach flutter at his actions. "We just came over to make the deal official and bring your stuff to my place. Did you want to come check it out?" He asks hopeful.
"Sure that sounds great." I smile as he takes my hand and leads me out to his car. He opens the door for me and then makes his way over to the drivers side, getting in.
"You look really pretty today Makayla." He says as he starts the car and I blush.
"Thank you Austin." I say looking down at my lap. I could feel Austin smiling.
After about a twenty minute car ride of Austin and I just catching up, we finally arrived at his place.
It was beautiful. We pulled up to a gate and beside it was a little room where a man was sitting.
"Hey Austin." The man said.
"Good morning Dave, Felix late again today?" Austin asks.
"Of course." Dave responds and Austin shakes his head and sighs. "Gates open."
"Thanks Dave, have a good day." He responds and then drives through the gates. We drive straight for a few minutes on a road in between beautiful fields until it opened up to a small roundabout with a giant fountain in the middle and a giant house behind it.
"Wow." I say mesmerized by the beauty of his house. "It's beautiful."
"not as beautiful as you." Austin mumbled softly.
"What?" I ask, thinking I could not hear him properly. He wouldn't say that.
"Nothing." He said quickly and opened his door. He hit a button before I could open my door and get out. He opened my door and I giggled.
"Was that necessary?" I ask and he chuckles.
"Of course. If you're my girl you're going to get treated like a princess." He took my hand and led me inside.
We walked through a few halls and up a flight of stairs until we got to the left wing of the house.
"The entire left wing is yours. You can pick a room because I know your probably not comfortable sharing a room with me, and anything else you need is here. I'm a few halls over so if you need anything you can always come get me." Austin says and I nod grateful that I wouldn't have to share a room with him, that would make this a lot harder.
He walks me around and shows me each room in the hall. I pick one that resembles the size and layout of my room at home and tell him that I wanted that one. He says okay and then walks me down the hall to show me where his room is.
"I swear, if you need anything at all at anytime come find me, I'll either be in here or in my work room across the hall." Austin tells me and I nod running my fingers through my hair.
"Are you nervous?" He asks concerned.
"No, why?" I reply.
"You always run your fingers through you hair or push it all back when your nervous." He replies.
"You noticed that?"
"I notice a lot about you Makayla. More than you think."
"Oh." Is all I say because I can't think of anything else. "I think I should go back home now."
"No, stay please?" He asks pleadingly. "It gets kind of lonely here. Such a big house all on my own, I would really like it if you stayed. We can watch movies?"
Austin looks at me hopeful, trying to get me to stay. I feel bad for him, this house is so big and lonely. One movie won't hurt.
"Fine I'll stay for a bit." I say and he smiles.
"Follow me."
