Nightmares were an often occurrence. It almost seemed natural for suyeon who woke up in the middle of night gasping for air. Hair disheveled breaths heavy and uneven. Her head throbbed with pain, every body part felt in pain not physical but as if someone had punctured her soul. Her careful steps downstairs to get water halted as she heard voices coming from Jeno's room. Something seemed off as he was usually a night sleeper. Standing Infront of the door she knocked lightly.
"Jeno?"
Renjun
"Stop panicking chenle and quickly patch him up"
Jeno was flustered, even more anxious. Renjun had been shot blood was pouring all over his favourite couch as the 7 members were cramped up in his room. Chenle was trying his best to use all of his medical skills which were in minus to help the older. Jeno anxiously paced around the room worried if his little sister woke up. If she got to meet them then he would have to explain everything. Dragging her in this mess was not an option for jeno.
"Fuck chenle! You are doing it wrong"
Renjun growled in pain. He was sweating profusely. The bleeding making it worse as he groaned in agony. Chenle's poor medical skills were a bonus point in this worse case scenario.
"Look, I am no Kun of a doctor. Bare with it or die"
As Renjun continued to curse at him in Chinese a knock was heard on the door making everyone stiffen. All eyes fixated on jeno who gulped before replying.
"Yeah?"
His voice came on shaky, it was going to be so obvious he is gonna lie
"You up?
Her voice sounded so familiar to renjun that he almost had an urge to open the door to see her face. Feel her physical appearance, something about her voice screamed comfort, what he needed the most Right now. He felt a sharp plucker pierce through his wound as chenle with his trembling hands tried replacing kun- their doctor.
"Uh why?"
"Nothing just checking up, I heard strange noises from your room"
Suyeon had already caught onto the his weird behavior. He was a bad liar or what she thought. Waiting for his reply she made a mental list of things which could possibly happen.
"you should sleep everything is okay"
The pain in her heart almost making her crutch down. It was often now, the feeling of her heart strings being pulled in the worst possible way. The feeling of terror. An uncertainty, something was not right.
"good night i guess"
Jeno let out a sigh of relief thinking his sister had finally backed off. Jaemin who was alerted prior, now plopped back on bed tracking the location of their ambushed mission so they won't come here at Jeno's house.
