🌌Chapter 3: Chou's Fan

Your pov

You almost jumped out of your skin from the sudden voice of a male. You hadn't even detected them, and nearly fell over..

"Yes.."

Slowly looking up and to the side you saw the face of a tall young man. His white fluffy hair and the falling snow, merging into one flurry of mess. But he didn't seem to care at all.

Blue oceanic eyes accented with a galaxy of depth, peering over the black shades he wore.

And lastly, his smile, his wide mischievous smile.

"I'm a second year student, Gojou Satoru, " He leant down to your face, "I couldn't help but wonder why a first year was running around down here.."

You felt all the warm blood rush to your cheeks, as he went way beyond your personal space. Standing back you took a shaky breath to steady yourself.

"S-Sorry, m-my cat ran off.." You looked up in the tree where he still sat, "He never does that.. I'm (L/n) (F/n).."

Gojou leant back, letting out a cloud of visible breath, "Nice to meet you (L/n). And the cat?"

This took you by surprise as nobody usually asked, "Chou.. He's like a familiar. But he never behaves like this I swear-"

"Maybe he wanted us to meet, or some fate crap like that, " He stared at the feline intently, "They have minds of their own."

This made you so confused, because up until now, he was just an ordinary lazy pet cat, with strange abilities. But the thought of Chou actually watching you and your weird ways made you shudder.

What if he actually planned that like Gojou said.

"..You might be right, " He smiled your way, "A-About Chou being aware of things!"

Gojou pouted at this, "Aw, (L/n)... Just entertain the fate idea!"

Your eyes twitched as your face went hot, "Are you serious? With all due respect, he doesn't even know you.."

But to your dismay the young man actually crouched down, putting his hands out, "Hereee Chou~ Come hereee, good boooy~"

The said cat leapt out of the tree, and straight into his arms without hesitation.

'Wow.. so this is betrayal...' You swayed in defeat as he pampered the feline.

"Well, there, that's a quick start, " He stood up, holding the purring cat, "I don't get why you won't just loosen up.."

"Because this is way too random and illogical to believe," You stood back, slightly annoyed, "I don't even get why you care so much!"

"Do you not feel something special about him? " He held out the cat, its legs dangling, "Jokes aside, this little guy gives off complex energy on par with some humans. I'm surprised you don't feel it..!"

You thought about your childhood, "..Well, he's always followed me wherever I go. And.. He makes me feel calm and safe."

He handed you the cat, "See what I mean? He's special."

You scratched his chin gently and he nestled his head into your arms. This was making you feel kind of bad...

"You are special aren't you, " You gave him a dear smile, "Sorry Chou."

"And what about me~?"

You barely moved your face and felt warm air fanning on it. He went past the line again.

"Aren't I also a special boy~?" He swayed like a ditzy idiot.

You stood back, whole body now warm, "Technically, everyone here at Jujutsu High School is 'special'."

He seemed defeated by this, and was about stand up when you finished your statement,

"But. I do appreciate you reminding me of a few things and, " Heart racing, you looked him in his unique eyes, "I'll entertain.. your silly idea."

In less than a second, he was already brainstorming his day, literally throwing words out of his mouth. But you had to admit, the enthusiasm he radiated was quite cute.

"Alright, so my lessons finish at 2pm tomorrow, then I have a case with Yaga-sensei that should take me one hour.." He looked up in thought, "So around 4pm in the main streetfood square?"

Your brain honestly couldn't gather what he had just said and you held your phone out, "O-Or.. Just give me your phone number then we can text it through..?"

"That would make more sense, " He wrote down your number and saved it, "You're from France aren't you.."

You took back your phone and nodded, feeling a little embarrassed, "It's my accent, isn't it."

"Well, yeah, " He started, "But it's not a bad thing...It's different."
