Ch 11. The Astronomy Tower

I couldn't fall asleep.

I couldn't fall asleep at all.

Remington and Sabrina were fast asleep in their beds. It was probably around midnight. Luckily Remington is not having problems right now, she gets scared by the moon being full, Sabrina and I don't really know why yet, but the moon is not even full tonight.

But I need some air right now.

I got out of my bed and quietly got out of our room. I walked into the Slytherin common room and went out to door, going into the hallways. I quickly and quietly walked around the castle hallways. Hopefully I'm not been seen by one of the professors or Filch.

Then I saw stairs going up to Astronomy Tower, the tallest tower in Hogwarts.

I walked up the stairs, once I got up there, I can really see the stars and the moon in the beautiful night sky more than I can see in the room I share with Remington and Sabrina. It's was also quiet up here.

"Serena?" I heard a familiar voice from behind me coming up the stairs. I turned around to see Draco coming up to the tower.

"Draco?" I asked him. It's been a week since the rest of the Hogwarts students came back from the holidays, even Sabrina's blonde hair cousin. "What are you doing up here?"

"I couldn't sleep and I saw you leaving, so I followed you." He answered me. "Which brings the same question Serena. What are you doing up here?"

"I couldn't fall asleep." I answered him. The blonde hair boy walked over to me. Getting closer and closer. "You should go back Draco."

"Why?" He asked me as he stopped right in front of me.

"Because I came up here, kinda wanting to some peace for a while. And look at the stars." I said, turning around to look up at the night sky. It was so beautiful.

"It looks nice doesn't it?" I heard Draco asked me.

"Yeah, it really is. The moon and the stars are really beautiful tonight." I said as Draco walked over to my side, looking up at the night sky.

"Yeah, it is." He said. "It's actually nice up there."

"Sure is Draco." I said. We smiled at each other, our faces turning kinda red.

I wish I could stay here forever and I look at the night sky all night long.

But I know that Draco and I need to go back to the dungeon.

"We should be getting back before we get into trouble." I said.

"Okay. Let's go." He said. We started walking downstairs, leaving the tower together.

We walked fast and quietly in the castle hallways. Luckily we didn't get found by Filch and his cat at all as we made it back to the Slytherin common room.

"Password."

"Pure blood." Draco said before we got in the common room.

"Well I'm gonna go back to my room. Night Draco." I said before I started going up the stairs.

"Good night Serena."
