Chapter 4

I froze
"Uh, um, I.."
"I understand if you don't want to"
"No Blake I would love to"

He looked down at me and smiled wide as he was satisfied with my answer.
"Alright ill text you later" he said as he walked away.

Tia and I quickly walked to our cars dodging questions from paparazzi
"Soooo" Tia exclaimed " heard you got a hot date"
"Maybe it's true" I said "we'll see what tomorrow holds". I said as I pulled out of the staples center parking lot

I woke up the next morning with a text from blake
"What time are you free today"

"Umm I was thinking around 6 maybe??"

"Perfect, I'll see You then😉"

After texting blake I got up out my bed and took a shower, I had a few errands to run before my "date" tonight. As I was getting dressed my phone buzzed, I picked it up only to realize it was a text from my ex boyfriend Bruno.

"Hey baby girl you wanna stop by my place later?"
I ignored the text and finished getting dressed, I had better things to do than worry about Bruno, he broke my heart into a million pieces. since you don't know what happened I'll tell you, Bruno and I were engaged, and one month before our wedding I found out he cheated on me and got another woman pregnant. I called off the engagement and the tabloids went nuts begging for a story of what happened. I kept it to myself until I appeared on the Ellen show about 3 months later and let everyone know. It was also around the time that Bruno came out with his song "If I was your man" which was obviously about me but I didn't care too much. he's been trying to win me back ever since but I've denied him.

I quickly put on my shoes hopped into my g wagon and headed off to my first interview of the day which was on The Real which is a daytime talk show

Once I got to the studio I was quickly taken into hair makeup and wardrobe. And after what seemed like hours I found myself on stage being interviewed by Tamar Braxton.

"Sooo congrats on a successful tour for you ammaaazing album "4", you did that". she exclaimed

"Thank you very much"

"So now that you get a little break from traveling are you planning on meeting someone new"?

My mind immediately flashed to Blake

"Maybe, it's been a while since I've been in a relationship but we'll just have to see what the future holds". I say

"And can we expect any new music coming out soon"? Says Adrienne

"Soon" I say leaving everyone guessing

"Well thank you for coming out today we hope to see you soon" says Jeannie Mai

"Thank you all for Having me"

After what seemed like a million interviews I finally arrived home at around 4:00. Knowing how long I take to get ready I quickly hop into the shower to get ready for my date.
After I get out the shower I have a text from Blake
"What's your address".
"3232 Calabasas lane" I respond
I look at the time to see that it's 5:10 and quickly pick out an outfit since we're going to PF changs I decided to keep it casual but still dressy. (Outfit in media)

Minutes later I heard a knock at the door. I walked passed Tia's door and heard moans, knowing her boyfriend was in there I kept walking. i opened the door only to see Blake holding nearly 2 dozen roses, my favorite.

"Thank you" I say

"No problem, ready to go?"

"Yes let's get outta here"

When we arrived at PF changs we were immediately swarmed by paparazzi
"Are you guys a thing now"
"Blake how's preparation for the playoffs going"
"TJ have you moved on from Bruno"
"Can we expect any new music anytime soon"
Tons of questions were thrown at us but we both chia to ignore them and keep walking

Blake's POV
After we were seated and we ordered I decided to spark a conversation
"You look beautiful"
I could notice she was slightly blushing
"Thank you, you look nice as well"
"Thanks"
"So tell me about yourself Mr. Blake Griffin "
I laugh at her silliness

"Well I'm 24, I play basketball, as you already know. I'm in love with Chinese food and women that can cook, I have a son named Ford and I'd say that I'm pretty good at Singing as well". I joked

"Oh yeah let me hear you" she giggles

"Maybe later" I laugh "tell me about you"

"Well I'm 23 im a singer, I've been engaged before and I'm best friends with a Victoria's Secret model that's about it"

"You've been engaged" I ask out of curiosity

"Yeah" she says

"What happened"

" he cheated on me". she says a bit sadly

"I'm sorry" I say

"It's okay"

TJ's POV
Well my date with Blake went better than expected he's currently walking me to my door

"I'd love to do this again sometime". He says

"Me too"

He slowly leans down towards me and before I know if his lips are pressed against mine in a soft sweet kiss. I slowly pull away smiling
"I'll text you later" I say
"I'll be waiting"
I flash a smile and walk into the penthouse only to find Tia staring right at me
"TELL ME EVERYTHING" she says excitedly
"Oh boy" I say as I begin to tell her what happened

"He has a son, how old is he"?! Tia asks

"I'm not sure I didn't ask I say"

"Oh, did you guys kiss?"

"I smile and look over at her"

"YOU DID AWW TJS GOT A BOYFRIEND" she says as she dances around the house

I just sigh and laugh at my super crazy best friend and think, what would I do without her.
