Halos hindi na mabura sa utak ko at paulit ulit kong naririnig ang sinabi sa akin ni Loki kanina.

Loki is not the type of person who would say that he misses you. That just sounds so impossible. I really could feel my cheeks burning, kanina pa. Halos katatapos ko lang maligo ulit, pero hindi man lang ako nakaramdam ng coolness. Loki really made me feel hot today, as in literally hot.

I wonder if he really changed. That he might found a girlfriend who defrost his frozen heart. "Ano ba 'yan, refrigerator lang?"

Pero he confirmed that he doesn't have a girlfriend. Hmm maybe he just fell in love and things did not work out very well so they broke up. "Bakit ba masyado ko 'yong iniisip!"

I sighed as I choose my outfit for later. Halos 15 minutes na akong nakatulala sa aking closet, at wala pa rin akong napipiling suot. I keep on thinking what kind of outfit should I wear. It's not like I always do this, actually, I am always quick to choose what I want to wear. But today is different. I'll be meeting Loki, and we are going out. He asked me out. Date ba 'yon? If that's a date, then what should I wear? Dapat ba, simple and casual lang? Or should I look girly? Or must I wear s-sexy clothes?

Napa-"argh" nalang ako. Why am I overthinking? Damit palang ito, halos sasabog na utak ko. Damn, seeing Loki again made me like this. The fact the he carried me here, stayed with me overnight, hugged me earlier and told me that he missed me added fuel to the fire.

After another 15 minutes, I'm already dressed from head to toe. I just decided to wear a gray turtle neck long sleeves, I tucked it in my high waist gray checkered pleated skirt na above the knee and I also put on my white loose cardigan. I just decided to wear white shoes and I also used white socks. I applied light make up, straightened my hair and fixed my bangs.

Kanina pa ako paikot-ikot dito sa salamin para tingnan nang maigi ang hitsura ko. There's this small voice inside of me that says that I have to look beautiful in Loki's eyes. Syempre, I like– nah, this is beyond liking. This is love. I'm in love with Loki. Umamin na rin naman ako noong nasa bar ako, hello. I really regret not telling him before but now, now that I have this chance. I can't let this chance to slip away. I could at least tell him my feelings. I just want to tell him, kasi kung hindi, pakiramdam ko ay sasabog na ako and I might not be able to move on. Baka forever nalang ako in love sa kanya, knowing that he would not end up with me.

I heard my phone rung and thanks to that, I was snapped back at the reality. An unfamiliar number appeared on my screen. I answered the call.

"Hello."

"Hey. It's me, Loki."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "How did you get my number?" I asked.

I heard him chuckled. "My dear Lorelei, isn't this your old number? Of course, I have it."

Oo nga naman, I never changed my number. But if he still has my number, bakit ngayon lang siya nagparamdam? Antagal naming nagkahiwalay, pero ni-isang "hi" or "hello", wala akong natanggap from him. It's not like I'm expecting that from him, ha!

"I see. Uhm, why did you call? Cancelled ba ang lakad natin?" I bit my lip after saying that. I sounded so disappointed and negative.

"Why are you so pessimistic, Lorelei? I called you because I'm here already, sa pinto. I tried knocking several times but you're not answering." He plainly said.
