The time was already 6pm, and Phoebe new she was up for trouble. She and Rio had run to every part in the village but no sign of Myrna had appeared. Phoebe's worries rose, and she felt a stroke of guilt as she continued running in front of the sunset, through the alley ways and pathways through gardens, it seemed like she was having a tour of the town but in a quick speed of time.
"Ugh, where could your teacher or whatever be?" he asked trying to catch his breath.
Phoebe looked to the ground and thought for a moment. 'Ok...we checked the markets, alleys, pathways, harbor-the harbor!' She looked up from the ground choking on her breath as she started zooming off, confused Rio behind her. "Hey! Phoebe where are you going?" he asked, trying to catch up to her.
"The harbor!" she exclaimed so he could hear her from her back.
Rio rose his eyebrow at her confusingly. "The harbor? Where the boats are? Why there?" he asked confusingly, not knowing that Phoebe didn't live on this island.
"Because our boat is there!" she said then paused as she saw a blue haired figure in front of the familiar sized boat she was on earlier when she came to the island.
"Myrna!" she exclaimed running to her. As she got close she could see the beautiful aqua colored eyes dazzling in the dark sunset sky.
"Phoebe! Where have you been?!" she exclaimed in a worried and panicked tone.
Phoebe paused in front of her letting Salom jump off her arms and onto the boat. "Uh..well it was because I..well..I-"
"Sorry Miss, she was with me, we had a small accident and a few.....incidents....happened that I had accidently tangled her up with," he cut off.
Phoebe turned and mouthed a thank you facing her back at Myrna. Myrna rose her eyebrow at the two, then smiled. "Very well, well Phoebe say good bye to your friend since we have to get back before it gets to dark," she said, starting to add the rest of the groceries on it.
Phoebe frowned and nodded, as she started walking closer to Rio, looking at him nervously, and it seemed Rio was secretly nervous as well, since his cheeks were more scarlet then after they had ran, but Phoebe had not noticed.
"Well, sorry for today," he said then turned his back at her coldly.
"Uh...ok, I hope I see you again," she called in a sweet tone.
Rio paused and turned smiling, "Me to." Right then Phoebe's heart thumped and that thump was just not that normal..it was different, strong, undiscribable, but in a good way.
"Phoebe, its time to go," Myrna said closing the boats trunk. Phoebe turned to face Myrna and nodded obediently, but once she turned to say one more goo bye to Rio, he was gone.
