"Alya" Chris called from the front door as I do my work. "Yea" I answered doing my work. I know y'all wondering why I'm with him. I have to come up with a plan that doesn't hurt anyone.
"Let's go " Chris said I get up and change. "Bruh what you got on? I swear all you want is attention." Chris said shaking his head walking out the room leaving me in my thoughts
"I think I look cute" I said to myself pouting. I grab my purse and walk to the door.

We are going to a cook out with his family which I honestly don't want to go but I know what happens if I don't. I tried coming up with different things as an excuse to not go but my mind is blank. We get in the car and I look out the window wondering how my mom is doing and if she was okay. I know I shouldn't wonder but at the end of the day that was my mom I loved her.
I just learned to love her from a distance I couldn't let her destroy both of us I had to leave and thinking about that made me think about my situation now and leaving. This time it isn't easy I have established my own here my passion was a grab away.
Leaving I know I would have to get far not to mention convince Jas to leave this life behind and go with me. That's the difference back then I could've left alone it would've been harder but it wasn't impossible. Now I have to think about the threat that is over mine and Jas head so leaving alone would be selfish but taking her from her life because of my issues again is also selfish.
"Alya" Chris said snapping me out my thoughts "what" I mugged him "I said when we get here you on your best behavior okay?" He asked stoping at a red light and looking over at me. I kept quiet until he spoke again loudly scaring me a little "DO YOU HEAR ME" I looked at him like he lost his mind. I swear if I had a gun he would be my first body. "I got ears" I mumbled
"What was that" he asked I stayed quiet hoping to get out the car soon. After a while we pull up to this blue two-story house with four windows. He park on the side of the road since the driveway was packed with cars.
We get out the car walking to the front door and he knocked. We waited for a minute and finally a lady came to the door. She looked exactly like Chris it was crazy. "Hey son" she said hugging him like they don't leave 20minutes away. They finally let go and her smile fades looking at me.
"I want you to stop bring thot ass women to my house Christopher" she said with disgust and walked away. It took everything in me to bite my tongue I turned away to leave only to be pushing in the house. I look and see people everywhere enjoying themselves.
7:00pm
As the day went on I noticed that more than half of the family barely spoke to Chris. We sat down at a table with Chris mom, auntie and 3 cousins as we ate in silence until Chris mom decided to voice her feels
"So Alyssa what do you do strip or you just leeching off my son" she asked with venom laced in her voice. That's not my name. She honestly sound stupid like your son works at Home Depot it's not a lot to Leech on but ok "Really Simón shut up" Chris auntie said.
"Actually I'm in college and I do hair" I finally spoke trying to keep it sweet and not slap somebody momma tonight.
"Oh forreal where you do it might like to check it out my hairstylist never gets the Style right" Chris cousin said from the top of the table making me smile. " it's called Gigi's glued it's in Atlanta I can give you my number or you can call up there and asked for an appointment with Alya" I said as she pasted me her phone to put my number in.
"Really Kayla she don't even look like she do hair" Chris mom said and Chris laughed. I start finishing my food because I must admit his uncle did his thing on the grill but I was ready to go. "Look at her eating like a pig" she continued and I was ready to talk.
"Ma'am no disrespect but your wig-" I was interrupted by Chris "Bruh Alya shut up before a smack you" he said fueling my fire "I wish you would I will lay you out Lil boy" his auntie said. He got up from the table leaving but it was cool because I text Tyler about 10 minutes ago to come pick me up.
I get up and walk out the door just as Tyler texted me. I get to his car and opened the door and he smiled making me smile.
"Lee Lee where we at, your side piece house?" he laughed making me laugh. It's something about being around Tyler that just puts me in a good mood. "Boy please you my side piece" I answer watching his face change
"So I'm the side piece and I'm not getting anything out of it Imma go tell then" he played along "Wow T I'm very much offended I thought my presence was enough" I pouted
"Well it ain't so my place or yours" he said turning to me smirking. "In your dreams" I said "Yep" he laughed. The rest of the way home we cracked jokes and listen to music making me almost completely forget about what events took place earlier and what was gonna happen when I see Chris again. But of course it was still in the back of my mind.
