Alya POV

      Tossing and turning I try to ignore my phone ringing on my nightstand. After a while I get up and pick it up. I was completely surprised when the jail automated voice filled my ears.

  "Lee Lee" I heard Tyler say. "What happened Tyler" I asked

  "Nothing big but I need a favor" he answered "Listening" I said waiting " I send Alexis to get my bail money out the safe a whole week ago and I'm still in jail so I need you to get it since Trey out of town" he explained

  "Tell me what I gotta do" I said

   At Tyler Home

After getting off the phone with Tyler I had to come to his house to get the money and go bail him out. I unlocked the door going straight to his office behind the bookshelf and I seen the safe.

  I squat down typing in the code to only see a gun. No money, I knew she was a snake. I can't believe this. I grab a towel and pick up the gun and the bullets and put it in my purse. What, it can come in handy I'm sure Tyler have plenty. I lock up the house and make my way home.

  When I get home I go straight to my room to the closet opening my safe. I careful placed the gun in the safe and look at my money. I was 1,000 close to getting my building and 1,500 close to getting my dream car and now I have to pick which one is more important to me.

  After staring at the money for a few I grab 3,000 out of my car saving placing it in my purse and heading to the bail bonds place.

  5:00pm

After a long time of processing and other things I was waiting for Tyler to come out. I look in the mirror making sure I had no bruises from Chris. I didn't all I had was a slight bruise in my wrist.

  I look up to see Tyler opening the door I quickly rolled my sleeve down and smiled.

"Hey inmate" I said looking at him making him laugh. "I'm the sexiest inmate you ever seen" he winked climbing in the car.

"Debatable" I said starting the car "but lemme tell you about your girl" I looked at him and back at the road. "Alexis" I nodded "what about her she good?" He questioned. "Ohh she's probably great" I said making him look at me confused.

"I went to your safe and it was cleared out only thing there was a gun which I'll be keeping for a while" I looked at him and he was fuming. "Whatchu mean cleared out" he asked.

"Whatchu mean what I mean I mean Cleared. Out no money empty, the heck" I answer paying attention to the road

"Fuckk man" he yelled scaring me. "My bad but damn Alya it was hella money in there for cases like this" he explained

  "It's okay-y" I said shaken. To say the Chris wasn't have a mental effect on me would me a lie. I'm always paranoid and if someone move to fast I'm scared. Yes my mom hit me but when I left she cared less but Chris gone find me.

  "Alya you okay" Tyler asked concerned making me nod. "Then why you crying" he said wiping tears. I didn't even notice I was crying. "Pull over lemme drive" he used a stern tone letting me know it wasn't a request it was a command.

I pulled over and got out the car and when I get to Tyler side he pulled me in a well needed hug "I'm sorry" he said

"It's okay" I answered softly and let go getting in the passenger seat and putting on my seatbelt.

"You hungry" Tyler asked starting the car "Always" I smiled and looked out the window. "I want J.R" I said.

At J.R

"You never went to prom" Tyler asked "nope" I said popping my p. "Damn Lee Lee even I went to prom I was the freshest nigga in that bitch" he popped his imaginary collar making me laugh until I cried

I look up to see Tyler straight facing me. "Whattt it was funny" I said "but it wasn't" he countered quickly making me laugh again. "Remember that wh-" Tyler started but was interrupted when the waiter came back giving our food "enjoy" he said then left us to eat.

The conversation seem to stop after our food came except the occasional jokes.

"Wait so if my safe was cleared how you get me out" Tyler asked looking up from his food. "I dipped into one of savings no big deal" I shrugged.

"Nah it is a big deal I'll get you the money back plus interest tomorrow" He said leaving no room to argue. We both continue to eat .After we finish i took Tyler home

"Ok my little Convict be safe out here and don't trust nobody" I said jokingly but serious "I got you and don't use that gun if it's not necessary " he said opening the door

"Heard, I love you T bear" I yelled out the window making him laugh "I love you too" he said going in the house as I pull off.

On the way home I think about life and I look at my purse thinking about the gun I got from Tyler. Maybe I can go to a gun range or something.

The closer I get to the house I began to notice how tired I am I look at the radio to see it was about 9 o' clock. Knowing I have early clients i was going to shower and go to sleep as soon as I walk in the door.

I finally made it home opening the door and taking off my shoes.

"Where you been at" I instantly recognized the voice making me wish I stayed out. "W-what y-you  doing h-here" I said terrified "don't question me" Chris pulled my hair and started something that became a routine. It barely hurt I just sat there and whimpered like a hit dog.
