After about fifteen minutes of following Shigaraki, he turned down another alleyway to a graffitied old abandoned building.
"We're here." He said, with a hint of a smile on his face.
Inside of the abandoned building, which is secretly the base of operations for the League of Villains, it looked like a bar. There were couches around the room, a television on the wall and an All Might poster that looked like a knife or claws had ripped gashes in it.
Behind the counter in the bar, there was a man of purple mist, just there, cleaning a used cup of tea "Probably from earlier on in the night." I guessed to myself.
"Tomura, what do we have here? Who is this?" The purple mist asked suspiciously.
"Ah! Kurogiri, this is our latest recruit, (Y/n) Marlow. She will be staying with us in one of the spare rooms upstairs."
"Nice to meet you Miss Marlow. I am Kurogiri. I hope you do not mind if I ask what your quirk is?" Kurogiri asked, with a very curious tone, sounding determined to know what my quirk is.
I replied, anxious to see what they think of my quirk, "My quirk is called 'Weaponification'. It allows me to turn anything I touch - if I want to - into any type of weapon. Like this," I showed them my camera and morphed it into a machete; luckily the blood from the previous use of this machete goes when it morphed back. I then morphed it back to the camera that was hanging around her neck previously, before it was a machete and said proudly, "There you go."
Shigaraki and Kurogiri stared at her, astonished. "Looks like we will definitely have a great time together now. I'm so happy I met you (Y/n)." Shigaraki said, chuckling to himself.
"Looks like destiny was on our side today." Kurogiri stated happily.
"But. . . there is one problem." I said shyly.
"What's that?" Shigaraki asked irritated at this girl for leading them along so much.
I looked at them both with a smile on my face, then I smirked at their unease. "I'll need hand to hand combat training."
Shigaraki looked at me and locked his eyes with mine. "I can arrange for that." He said, chuckling softly. "There is a guy I know who can help you train very well."
"That's very good then," I beamed at the crusty, light blue-haired man. "Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity!"
"Of course." Shigaraki gave me a warm smile back.
Then all of a sudden, Kurogiri looks slightly surprised as his eyes widened. "What is it, Giri?" I asked with a hint of worry in my voice. Without responding to me, Kurogiri turned up the volume of the television, which was on a news channel.
"BREAKING NEWS - In a run-down area just on the other side of Hosu City, the Marlow family were all found with knife wounds. There were no survivors, except for a young girl (Y/n) Marlow, who is eleven years old, but she is nowhere to be found, and she is a suspect of these three murders.
The names and ages of the victims are two fourteen year old boys, twins, whose names are Dan and Tanner. Quirk: 'Delinquent'. These two were going to apply to UA to go to the entrance exams at the end of their current school year and were going to grow up to be promising heroes. But that was taken away from them. We think that it is all because of their sister, (Y/n). We will be sending police out to look for her, and some pro heroes if necessary.
The other victim is Ralph Marlow. Quirk: 'Crush'. He was a former pro hero but stopped after villains from the Shie Hassaikai murdered his wife, Eleanor Marlow, who was the pro hero, 'Elasticity'. After the death of his wife, Ralph went on a downwards spiral and became a drunk. As well as this he was banned from using his quirk unless he was against a villain, because he used it on his daughter, (Y/n) who he blamed for Eleanor's death, as she was the only one at her home, so nearby to her mother and the Shie Hassaikai at the time of the incident. Nonetheless, there were no reports of him using his quirk ever since then; that was six months ago. Along with that, there were also no reports of anyone getting abused or beaten, so we are curious about the young girl's motive to kill her family, if she did, which is potentially highly likely.
Anyways, other news for today was All Might saving a building full of civilians from a villain attack demonstrated by a villain with a very destructive quirk. We will show you what All Might said after the incident. "I saw people running away, so I came here, which was extremely lucky because I saw an opening and I t-"
Shigaraki had snatched the remote from Kurogiri and had turned it off, no doubt by having seen the number one shitbag, All Might.
"So . . . you really did kill your family. This is going to be very much my pleasure to have you working for us." Shigaraki said to me, and I could feel the genuinity in his voice.
"So, who's going to train me?" I asked, happy that they accept me for who I really am.
"Ahh, yes. . . I forgot about that. Let me give him a call." Shigaraki pulls out his phone and dials a number, "Hello. I have a new recruit that I would like you to train. She will give you the details of what type of training when she gets there. Yes, it's a girl. She's eleven years old. She'll tell you that when she gets there too. Thanks, come to our base of operations at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Okay, see you there. Bye."
"All sorted." He told me, "You should get some rest. Kurogiri, show her to the guest room where she will be staying tonight and when she gets back from her training each night."
"Of course I will, Tomura," Kurogiri assured him, "Miss Marlow, come with me."
I followed him to a fairly empty room that just had a desk to one wall in the far corner and a bed in the centre of the room but with the headboard up against the wall. There was a window directly opposite the bed. The room wasn't too big nor too small, it was a perfect size for me, even though I still didn't have many belongings. In a way though, this room reminded me of my bedroom, but I was fine with that.
"Don't worry," Kurogiri told me, "You can customise how your room looks, since it is yours."
"Thank you all so much for your hospitality." I said, beaming at Kurogiri.
If Kurogiri could blush, he would be right now. "Anything for a member of the League of Villains." He told you, still blushing. "Now, get some rest, your trainer will be here at 9 a.m. tomorrow but you can wake up at whatever time you want to, as long as you are ready for him when he arrives."
"Okay. Goodnight Kurogiri." I said sleepily.
"Goodnight, Miss Marlow."
Kurogiri shut the door quietly after he left, then I got changed into my nightclothes, and I got into bed and lay under the covers. Shortly after that, I fell asleep, looking forward to what the next day would bring. . .
