Chapter 4 - Girls day

I get up and go downstairs while still wearing my pajamas because I'm not sure what I'm gonna do today. I see Kelsey sitting down on the couch in the living room in her phone. "Kelsey?" I asked narrowing my eyebrows together. "Oh you're up!" She says getting up and walking to me.

"What are you doing here not saying that I'm complaining but...why?" I ask. "Oh well I was wondering if you wanted to go to get breakfast this morning with me?" She asks biting her lip waiting for an answer. I sigh and run my hand through my hair. "Okay yeah sure just let me get a bath and get some clothes on" I tell her before she gasps and squeals then hugs me. Around others she's a badass daredevil but around me she's a full on giddy girl.

I walk back downstairs wearing a t-shirt and some leggings with my hair in a ponytail. She grabs my arm and pulls me out the door. "Bu-but Kelsey I need to a-ask my mom first" I say while she drags me out of the house "oh don't worry I already asked her. I face palm and then we make our way to the only place in town to get cooked food.

We walk into the diner and go get a seat in a booth so we had enough room for us both. "What's gotten you all excited this morning?" I ask her. "Welll" she starts "sooo you know how last night I went to with Derick?" She says "yeah what about it?" I say but before she can answer a waitress comes up and asks for the food and drinks that we want. We order and then she tell us our food will be out in just a little bit.

"Anyways what were you saying?" I ask. "well I got to spend the night at his house last night" she said happily. "Wait what?" I ask confused "but why are you so happy about that?" I ask then it hits me "Wait did you two-!?" I harshly whispered trying not to let other people hear but also not scream it. "No no I'm not 16 yet so of course not" she said. "Then why are you so happy?" I asked. "Last night he told me he loved me for the first time" she said excitedly.

"Oh..oh my god" "that's great I'm so happy for you two" I say smiling widely. Her smile falters and I ask her "what?" "I didn't say it back" she said in a low and sad voice. "What?" I ask her "why not?" "I don't know..it kind of just shocked me that he actually said it".

"Well do you love him?" I ask her. "Of course I do!" She says quickly "well at least I think so" she says while shifting in her seat across from me. She puts a strand on her blonde hair behind her ear. "I don't know" she finally says.

The waitress comes back with out food. I got pancakes and Kelsey got eggs and bacon with a hash brown as well. We quickly ate our food, we were both starving. Kelsey looks out the window while she's eating and then looks at me like a light bulb above her just turned on. "I have an idea" she said "what?" I ask while taking a bite of my pancakes. "What if we had a girls day?" She asks "what do you mean?" I ask. "I mean like go to the mall, shop, go to the spa, and nail salon?" She answers.

I mean it seems like a fun idea and my mom would definitely be okay with it because she would love doing that herself. She'd probably beg us to let her go too. "I mean seems like a fun idea but..I don't have the money to" I say sadly. "I do" Kelsey says "but Kelsey I'm not gonna let you do that for me" "Nah ah" she says and hold up her finger and wags it "nope" she says "today I'm going to treat both of us and you aren't going to argue with me about it ya got me?" She says I just slightly nod my head knowing whatever i'd say next she would just say "nah ah" and wave her finger again.

"Okay fine" I say taking the last bite of my pancakes. We finish our food, and pay then head over to the closest mall we have in the city about an hour away from our town. Derick drives us over there because he's 16 and has his license and said he would pick us back up later when Kelsey texted him.

We got to the mall and the first place we went was to the clothes. Kelsey picked out multiple clothes for me and for herself. After there we went to the food court and for some Chick-fa-la. After we got our food and ate we went to my favorite store in the mall. Hot Topic. I went crazy in there. I found a flower crown, a Dunder Mifflin shirt, Spongebob meme shirt, a TØP, RHCP, FOB, and Imagine Dragons shirts earbuds with my zodiac sign on them, a Pokémon plushie, Minecraft plushie, a Fairy Tail keychain and a Steven universe shirt. Kelsey said she's never taking me back there ;(

After we went to this day spa/salon. We got facial masks, and Massages. We also got our nails done after. Kelsey got hers pure navy blue and I got black with one with a rose on it.

After we did that we went into one of those photo booths and got some pictures. The first one was us hugging, the second was us doing funny faces, the third was us smiling and peace signing, the forth was of us sticking our tongues out to the camera. We both got one of them and said we would keep them forever.

After that we were acting like kids and riding on those little moving bus rides. We were laughing and causing a scene but we didn't care. Then we went to the fountain in the middle of the mall then threw some pennies in and made wishes. For me I wished for Adam to get better, and as for Kelsey i don't know because "you can't say what you wished for other wise it doesn't come true" she says that all the time.

After Kelsey texted Derick to come get us he took us to Kelseys house and I called back home and asked mom if I could spend the night at Kelseys tonight and she said she was okay with it only if Kelseys parents were okay with it too.
