I and Mattia made it back to my place so we could finish our morning asleep. It was still early in the morning so my mom shouldn't be off to work yet, at least not until 10:00 am.

I walked upstairs with Mattia falling behind me. I knew Natalie was probably in the room with my mother so I took a few light knocks on the door

"Mama?" I said knocking on the door "I'm back" I opened the door to her sleeping next to Jolene. I smiled and took Natalie from the middle of them.

She had already been awake and was moving her arms and feet around. I set Natalie on my hip and turned around to go back into my room

Mattia had already gone to sleep in my bed by the looks of it. He'd already taken off his shirt but kept his sweats on. I set Natalie in her crib, but in front of the bed so she was able to see the tv.

I got undress from my birthday outfit and got on some shorts and a sports bra. I quickly made my way into the bed with Mattia and wrapped my arms around him awkwardly.

Not long after I fell asleep I heard a loud thud from in front of me where Natalie had been. I quickly lifted my head and I felt Mattia's body shift as he lifted his head as well.

"What was that?" Mattia asked looking at me. I nodded my head and I stood up out of the bed only to see Natalie laying on the ground in a crawling position

"Baby!" I said picking her up off the floor. "Are you ok?" I asked rubbing her head

She just looked at me as if nothing was wrong. I looked at the tv which she had been watching before I went to sleep.

"She alright?" Mattia asked sitting up in his spot on the bed

"She seems fine," I said checking anyway on her body she could've gotten hurt. "We'll put you here for now" I smiled, putting Natalie in between me and Mattia

"Alright kids, me and Jolene are off to work," my mom said opening my room door "hiii Mattia she said giving him a playfully flirtish wave

"Heyy" he waved back, with a smile

"If yall get hungry...go get food, don't eat anything that's in the fridge," my mom said pointing at me

"Yeah ok" I rolled my eyes, setting my hands in my lap

"See you goofys later," she said closing the door

I gave her one last wave before she closed the door and I let out a little sigh.

"Whos Jolene?" Mattia asked, adjusting Natalie in his lap

"Moms...girlfriend? I think" I said tilting my head a little

"You're mom is gay?" He said making a weird face

"Yeah" I nodded "I was a little confused at first too, but I think its the best for her anyway" I nodded

"Ahh, ok" he nodded
