"So you're telling me that he still wouldn't leave even after you embarrassed him in front of his family?" Luica nodded. My stomach hurts from laughing so much. It's been a while since I had a good laugh.
"He deserved a lot worse but at that moment I settled for that." she wiped her tears and laughed again. Lucia was telling me how her ex cheated on her with his stepsister while she was having dinner with his parents. "Anyway. What about you? Don't you have any interesting story?"
"Not really but I had a wired hook up once."
"Tell me!" she said listening like I was about te tell her the location of a cave full of gold.
"So a friend set us up. He was good looking and had a nice body. Everything went smoothly but once we were in a middle you know what. He started calling me weird names and saying wired stuff."
"Like what?" Lucia asked.
"Mommy."
"What!?" she yelled. "Did I hear you right?"
"Yep you heard me right. He started saying things like 'that's it mommy', 'mommy be nice'. That was the biggest turn off in my life. After that I left and blocked his number. That was my first and last hook up." Lucia was holding her stomach as she laughed.
"Damn, that really was something."
"Yeah thing's happen."
"Liz, can I asked you something?" what could she probably ask me.
"Sure."
"Did you really embarrass Alpha Brysen at Heron's party."
I groaned. "How did you know?"
"So it's true. Silas told me but I don't believe a word that leaves that man's mouth." why does she hate him so much.
"What did he do to you for you to hate him that much?" she shrugged.
"He didn't do anything to me. I just hate everything that he is. Arrogant, rich, good looks, nice body and a player." I get it. She has experience with his type that why she hates him.
"You guys quarrel like cat and mouse. Honestly I ship you guys." I said. She looked shocked but at the same time like she wanted to throw me under bus.
"Didn't you just hear me. I hate him." she raised her voice.
"Hey, hey there is a thin line between love and hate." I joked making her more angry. While she continued to say how much she hates Silas.
"Damn Luc I knew you talked bad about me while your were at work but I didn't know you did that too when you were out." my body froze for a second. I turned to look at Silas but what surprised me more was Brysen standing next to him smiling.
But once he saw me his smile fell and he frowned at the sight of me. Well don't worry buddy I don't like you either.
"Liz." said Lucia. "I kept talking bad about the devil and I'm seeing hallucinations like he is next to you." She said refering to Silas but the devil for me was not Silas but the other one.
"Sorry to disappoint but you're not seeing hallucinations."
"Well, well the gates of hell have opened since we have one of their demons here." Brysen said while looking at me.
"Yeah and you better not get on the demons bad side or she will take you with her to hell." I replied meeting his eyes. Not every non-rank can do that to an alpha but I couldn't care less. Brysen's jaw ticked but he didn't say anything else.
"Well you guys enjoy your time we are going to leave now." Silas said breaking the awkward tension. "Good bye now."
"I hope I never see you again." Brysen said with a smile.
