Loki went off to some important counsel while you sat on the bed, staring out of the window and playing with your engagement ring. You weren't sure if you wanted this. Tony and Pepper were probably looking for you. You were secretly hoping Thor would pay Asgard a visit, so maybe you could go to him... and hoping he would save you. It was a little pathetic and depressing that you were relying on Thor to save you.

There was a knock at the door.

You were startled and let your eyes glide to the polished doors. Again, the person knocked.

'Yes?' you said with a strong voice, although you hadn't much courage. A tall woman with long black hair and brown eyes walked in. The forst thought that crossed your mind was that she looked stunning in her lime dress that reached just above her ankles.

'Hello, I am Peppa. I'm your servant. I came to prepare you for the feast,' she said with a high pitched voice. You raised your eyebrows.

'I-I'm sorry?' you wondered aloud. Loki hadn't told you anything about a feast! What was that bastard planning behind your back?

'The engagement party,' lovely Peppa explained. You stared at her dumbfounded. 'Has the King not told you yet? I am so sorry that I spoiled the surprise, my Lady.'She started rambling an apology. She kneeled at your feet.

'No, please don't be sorry. And please get up it makes me rather uncomfortable...'

'Oh, I am sorry, but the King always makes me kneel.' You frowned. You were supposed to marry that man? Thor! Save you!

'Well, you don't need to kneel before me,' you told her.

'Thank you, my Lady. It feels good to be treated like an equal.' You smiled softly at her. What had happened to her to say that? You fel a pang of compassion go through you. 'But I really have to get you ready, otherwise the King will not be pleased. Are you okay with that?' You nodded.

'Sure, what do I need to... What am I supposed to do?' you asked aloud, looking around the unnecessary large room.

'The King told me to bathe you.'

'Yeah, sure. Where's the bathroom?'

'I'll show you, my Lady.'

'Please, Peppa, just call me Y/N,' you assured her. She repeated your name, as if to test it before she smiled sweetly. She was about a head taller than you so you had to look up when you smiled back at her.

She led you into the bathroom. It had a wooden floor, a white, large bathtub in the corner of it and marble sinks.

'This looks nice,' you commented. You expected her to leave now, but instead she began brushing off the straps of your red dress. 'Whoah, what are you doing?' you panicked as you took a step back, clutching the dress to your chest so it wouldn't fall to the floor.

'The King told me to bathe you, Y/N,' she said as if it was the most normal thing on Asgard.

'I can do it by myself.' You decided it sounded kind of rude by the expression on her face so you corrected yourself: 'But thank you for your assistance. I can handle it from here.'

'Let me at least prepare you a bath. And while you bathe, I'll go and pick up the dress the King demanded you to wear.' He demanded it? Pffft. You were not wearing anything that was obligated bu him. Obviously.

You were sitting in the bath. You had just rinsed out your hair when Peppa returned with a ling, black dress.

You got out of the water before she could turn around and stare at you.

With the towel wrapped safely around you, you tapped her shoulder.

'Do you have underwear?' you mumbled as you looked down at the dress.

'Oh, yes, here.' She pointed at a chair where some lace knickers and a bra lay.

'And who exactly bought the dress and this?' you wondered. You were just curious and a bit suspicious whether or not the clothes would fit you.

'The King did.' Ah, Loki. Okay... That's just weird.

'Oh.' You dropped the towel and quickly put on the matching underwear. Then gazed into the mirror with a frown. How did he knew your bra size?

'What's wrong, Y/N?' Peppa asked. You shook your head.

'Nothing I'm sorry,' you muttered as you put on the dress.

Peppa made sure you looked your best and all dolled up with a little makeup. Red lips that stood out against your glowing skin.

'Are you ready to attend the feast? I'm sure everyone has already taken a seat to get a good look at you.' You tried to force a smile on your face.
