You looked at Loki with a questioning look on your face. You wanted answers, no. You needed answers. You tilted you head to the side and crossed your arms over your chest.

'What was that?' He stared at you with a frown, shaking his head and throwing your question out of the window.

'Is it true?' he inquired. You arched up an eyebrow.

'What is true?'

'Did you're mother had you tested?'

'Of course,' you huffed. 'Dad insisted. You know, when you have a milionaire as you're father you run stupid tests to make sure nothing is wrong with you and a fertility test happened to be one of them!' you spat. 'Why don't you believe me?'

'I do believe you,' he grumbled.

'Then why did you ask?' His eyes met yours.

'Because...' he wandered off, his eyes looking flicking over to everywhere but you. You sighed. 'If I am really going to be marrying you, we need to honest with each other.' You took little steps towards him until your body almost touched his. 'Loki?' you voice sounded hopeful. He ran an hand trough your hair and smiled carefully.

'Okay. I can be honest,' he said and cleared his throat. 'What do you want to know?' His thumb stroke your cheek, and it soothed your emotions.

'Well...' You took a deep breath and dared to face him. 'Who was Elisabeth? And why did she called you Lokes?' You spit out her name as if it was a bit of dirt on your shoes. 'And why the name of God would she lie and tell you I were infertile?' His arm fell next to his body and he looked away in something that could be resembled as shame?

'Do you want to sit down first?' he offered. You shrugged. This must be a big deal. Your breathing picked up and your heartbeat increased. He carefully took your hand in his and led you to the bed, which you sat on. When he began speaking, he didn't let go of your hand, only squeezed it reassuringly.

'She was my fiance once.' You felt a pang in your chest and your vision went blurry for a minute or two. You face paled and your breathing came out ragged.

'Wha- What do you mean?' you squeaked.

'Elisabeth and I go way back until she-' He stopped talking and looked down at his lap. His jaw clenched tightly.

'What? Until she what?' you asked quietly.

'Until she hooked up with Fandral,' he said, his words dripped with venom and you wondered if he had moved on, or if he still liked her dispite her disloyalty towards him. You bit your lip.

'I-I'm sorry to hear that, Loki. Uhm... I am not good at comforting people - let alone Gods, but... Do you need a hug?' you whispered. His eyes met yours and he smiled.

'I could always use a hug from you. Come here,' he said as he puts his arms open for you to crawl in. You wrapped your hands around his torso and his slid around your hips. You sat like this for awhile, and although you wanted to stay like this forever, you needed answers.

'Why did she lie about my fertility?' you wondered. He stroke your hair, slowly cradling you. He sighed.

'I guess she regrets it. Being unfaithful to me now I am about to be King of Asgard. Back then, it was supposed to be Thor, but now he's busy on Midgard helping the Avengers... I reckon she regrets it...' You curled your nose in disgust. If that was true. If she truely regretted it... what if Loki dumped you back on Earth to be with her? You squeezed your eyes shut.

'However, I am the God of Mischief, but that doens't mean I lie to my love. I just don't. Believe me.' He kissed the top of your nose. 'I guess regret always comes to late... and it's not different in her case. I have you now. Way better, smarter, and in my humble opinion a more beautiful woman.' He grinned at you.
