The doors of the chambers opened and you peeked from the bed, where you and Peppa still sat.

Loki walked in with a worried face, his arms crossed over his chest when he eyed you suspiciously.

'Well?' he questioned, his voice slightly raised. You grinned. 'Are you-?' You nodded with a smile. 'Yes!' He sprinted towards you and launched himself on the bed, passed Peppa, and wrapped his arms tightly around you.

'Careful! You don't want to crush the baby,' you squeaked, then his grip loosened a bit, but not enough for you to crawl out. You giggled as he kissed the top of your head.

'I'm going to remain King,' he said with pride. You knitted your eyebrows together.

'You're going to be a father. Isn't that more important?' you asked him, slightly pulling away to look at his face. He gulped, stroking your cheek with his thumb.

'Of course. I'm just happy that the puzzle is going to be complete. I will almost have everything I wanted,' he said with a smirk. You shook your head and blinked.

'Almost? What's missing?' you wondered. He placed a finger to your lips.

'Nothing. Nevermind,' he soothed. As if that was supposed to take your worries away. You cleared your throat and looked at Peppa, who was trying not to glare at the King. What was going on? Did she knew something you didn't?

'Anyway,' you tried to change the subject. 'I am terribly bored. Is there any possibility that we can go shopping for my dress today?' You put on big eyes and pouted. Loki chuckled, and Peppa huffed at him, which eared a stern look from him.

'Of course. Peppa, accompany her. I need to take care of something else,' he told the two of you. You smiled and clapped your hands, already forgotten about what he'd said earlier. You clapped your hands together as Loki stood up and walked to the door.

'How's you're afternoon going to be?' you asked him before he could disappear behind the door. He shrugged, not turning around.

'Nothing to be concerned about, darling.' And with that he left you alone with Peppa once again. She glared at the door, almost burning holes into it with her eyes.

'What's wrong?' you asked her, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear.

'Nothing,' she replied in a bitter voice. 'Let's go shopping for that dress.' Her tone was more friendely now she was looking at you and it made you question your fiance's behaviour.

'You can tell me,' you insisted, but she shook her head.

'That's the point, Y/N. I can't,' she muttered, looking away.

'What? No, you have to tell me. If you say you can't, you must. If you shouldn't you need to. You get what I'm saying here?' She sighed.

'Let's go,' she said a bit more firmer that made you shut up. You pressed your lips together. Suddenly, you didn't want to go shopping anymore. You felt as if secrets had been kept from you. And the worst part was that Peppa most certainly knew about it.

Anyway, you tried to act as if he may have a surprise for you. I mean, you were getting married after all... or was that too optimistic? You bit your lip as Peppa led you out of the room and took you to town.

You spend the whole afternoon trying on dresses, but you didn't really find one that could tip to your expectations. And the fact that you didn't had your mother with you also played a part. But you had Peppa, and she quickly discovered you didn't like the Asgardian dresses, so she showed you another one in a small shop at the back.

'What about this one. I don't know a lot about Midgard, but I think this is close to what they wear. Am I right?' she asked as you looked over your shoulder. You yourself were going through dresses.

Then your mouth fell agape. A beautiful white dress with long see-through sleeved, covered with white, lace flowers. It also had a white neckline that flowed over into a wider skirt.

You looked over at Peppa and nodded, unable to say something. She laughed and handed you the gown.

'Well, come on then,' she cheered you on. 'Try it on!' She grabbed your shoulders and pushed you into a fitting cabin. You chuckled and you never had discared your clothes to the ground that fast in your life, before you tried on the gown.

'Is it on?' Peppa squeacked. Your hands were pawing at your back. You couldn't button it up yourself and to your embarrassment, you had to ask her to help you.

'I can't-' You didn't even had to finish your sentence before she opened the curtain and gawked at you.

'I'll help you.' She went to stand behind you and buttoned the dress up. Your eyes met in the mirror and she winked at you, which you blushed at, quickly looking down at the floor in an attempt to hide it. But she had caught you. She chuckled behind your ear. 'You know, if you weren't to marry the King, I would've taken you from Midgard,' she said in a... flirtatious tone? You gulped.

'W-Why is that?' you stuttered. Damn it. Why do gorgeous people had this affect on you?

'Because I like you. Have liked you ever since you flashed your eyes at me.' the corners of your mouth tugged upward, which she chuckled at.

'you know I can't-'

'I know. But if he ever-'

'He won't,' you interrupted her harshy, expecting her to say what you feared yourself. Her hands ghosted over your arms and she smiled at you through thee mirror.

'Then I'm available,' she finished in a whisper.

Well, you were now walking through the long corridors of the palace, ignoring the fact that the maid next to you was crushing on you. With your hands behind your back, you tried to walk casually around. Peppa was carrying your wedding dress, although you insisted a thousand times that you were happy to carry it yourself.

'You're pregnant. You shouldn't carry to much,' was her concered reply, which you rolled your eyes at.

You abruptly stopped walking when you heard two voices, one you recognized as Loki's, but the other one was still unknown. You grabbed Peppa's arm and motioned in the direction of the voices.

'I want to-' said the woman's voice, but she got interrupted by as harsh one.

'No! You can't. Not now. Our situation is unstable. We can't affort a mistake now,' he hissed. You knitted your eyebrows together.

'But I don't like it if you sleep with her,' the woman snarled back.

'I don't care if you like it or not. This was the plan!'

'But-'

'Go back to the hospital wing and keep a low profile,' he ordered. You heard heels clicking on the floor and you and Peppa quickly started walking until you ran into your future husband

You held a pokerface, or so you hoped. You blood was boiling. Was being honest to much to ask for? What the hell was happening here? Your mind threw questions at you, you coudn't even answer.

'Oh, hello, darling. Ah, Peppa, I see you are back?' Peppa nodded, giving him that same venomous look she threw at him earlier. He smirked. 'Good. You may take your leave. I'll take it from here. Y/N, sweetheart, If you will follow me,' he continued as he waved Peppa off. He took your hand. It was tender.

He continued to walk around the palace, and eventually took you back to his room. As you both walked in, he closed the door.

'Oh, so you're just going to lock me in here again?' you muttered under your breath. He had heard. Oops

As if he's been stung by a scorpion, he turned around. He raised a questioning eyebrow, his features stern. You swallowed.

'What was that, darling?' he said with an edge to his voice. Double oops
