Part 15

I'm crushed under debris, I hear Banner, Rocket, and Rhodey and try to work my way out from under the concrete. Water quickly floods in and we all struggle to stay above it, I see a flicker of movement next to me, and seconds later, Lang is bursting through the roof, carrying us in his massive hand. I look out onto the battlefield, seeing large groups of people, 'Hey Doll' I gasp at the feeling of my bond with Bucky return, I search in the crowds and spot him with Wakandan soldiers. 'I missed you, Sarge', I feel my old strength slowly coming back to me, I let out a shaky breath as my body changes into a wolf. I make my way down the rubble and sprint to Bucky as both armies charge. I get to his side and he immediately is on top of me, gripping my fur.

'Good to be back Yunnie' I yip in response and run to the beasts that were the same from all those years ago. I tear through them as Bucky hops off to shoot at more, we settle into a familiar routine. I see Wanda sending large rocks at Thanos and start towards her, I watch as she tears his armor to shreds. I hear him yell to rain fire, I dash to Wanda's side and shove her under me when I see missiles come from his ship. One lands near us and sends us both flying, I land on a metal beam and shift back from the pain. I groan feeling that I broke multiple ribs but change back anyway to keep helping. The ship guns point to the sky and fire into nothing, a beam of light shoots through the battleship, blowing it up. I see Shuri and run to her, yipping in joy. She smiles and gestures to my back, I bend down to let her on.

"I was curious ever since I made that harness." I huff and sprint towards the incoming army, hearing the princess blast at them as I run. An explosion goes off sending me flying backward, I turn in the air and curl around Shuri. I land and roll to a stop and shift back, letting go of the Wakandan.

"You okay?" I ask holding my ribs, she nods and helps me to rest against debris as she fires at incoming creatures. One goes to attack her but turns into dust, the same as five years ago.

My mind goes to the worst, that Thanos had snapped again, "Bucky!" I call out for him, desperate to know he was okay, he appeared over some rubble and I bolted to him, wrapping my arms around his neck and burying myself in his scent.

"I'm here Doll, I'm right here and I'm going nowhere." He soothes into my hair, holding me close. We walk through the remains of the facility, and hear that Tony had sacrificed himself for us, I was never close to him but he gave his life for humanity and that deserves respect. Clint returns to his homestead and his family, finding Ella, Tammy, and Faith and letting them stay on the ranch with them since they had kept it working in their absence. We go to the Stark's home and have a funeral for the passing of Tony. I was next to the Bartons and Bucky behind me. After it ended, Bucky and I go to the Barton Homestead and meet Tammy and Faith officially. Ella hadn't changed much, and her wife was a perfect fit for her. Tammy was raised on an animal sanctuary and took Ella's abilities well. She was a beautiful woman, her tanned skin suited her dark hair well, and her background in the armed forces helped Ella with physical tasks around the ranch.

"Now you take good care of my Kitty or you'll have an angry wolf hunting you down." She laughs and looks over at Ella who was currently with the Barton kids along with Faith. Laura was making lunch and Clint was standing to the side with Bucky, talking about something.

"I would never dream of hurting her, she's my all just like you and Bucky, I see how you look at each other like you are each-others hearts."

I look down at my bony hands, "He was taken by the snap and I lost everything, I became a dead person walking, you can probably tell by how pitiful I am."

I look over at Tammy, "I get you, I lost my partner on a mission, it was routine, and I was careless because I was cocky and it got him killed." I watch her rub at her arms, I take hold of her wrist and look at the lined scars scattered across her toned skin.

"This collar was to track my vitals and location, it was because I would run away from our headquarters and try to join Bucky who I thought was dead." I press a button and let her hear my heartbeat before turning it off again.

"Be glad you had friends willing to do that, mine just ignored my problems and let me do all this." I nod, moving back to watch the kids play games, Bucky and Clint had moved to join in on the fun, and currently, Nate was hanging off his metal arm. We both laugh at the sight and walk down the hill to meet them. Bucky sees me and gently lets Nate off his arm and comes over to me and picks me up, spinning me around as I cling to him like a tiny koala. He stops but doesn't make a move to let me go.

I hear laughter and then Clint calls out, "You two are like lovesick teens." Bucky goes to respond and me being me, I nibble at his shoulder where the mate bond is, making him stutter and hold back a groan.

"That's what you get for making me dizzy, Sarge." I snicker into his neck

"I'll get you back for this doll." He hums into my hair before letting me drop to the ground on my butt, I yip at him rubbing my now sore back.
