Chapter 2: Pretty Cheesy Huh?

If you want to hear the backstory of how we met, I would reconsider that. Our backstory is almost as typical as it gets and it makes me sound like a stupid little fan girl, which I'm not. I was 14 at the time and I had decided to go to Magcon here in Mooresville, North Carolina. I had just moved here from Louisville, Kentucky and I had all but a few friends. They wanted to go meet the guys so we planned our day perfectly. Have a sleep over at my house, woke up the next day, got all primped and pampered and went to meet the boys. I wasn't the biggest fan in the world but I liked their vines. All of theirs; Nash, Hayes, Taylor, Arron, Shawn, Matthew, and Jack and Jacks'. So I thought 'why not'. Well we get to the meet and greet and I start feeling light headed. I met Matt, Taylor, Jack and Jack and I was starting to get a headache from all the screaming and crying girls. I went to the next room to meet Nash, Hayes and Aaron. I met Nash and I walked up to Hayes but before I could say anything, I fainted. Hayes caught me and helped me get to the hospital. He rode in the ambulance with me and my friends because he claimed I was his friend, even though at the time he didn't even know my name. He sat in the waiting room after I had fallen asleep in the hospital bed until I woke up and when I did, he was right there. He told me what had happened since I was still groggy before I had fallen asleep and I thanked him many times. He sat in the chair next to my bed and talked with me. I told him my story, that I was 14, a grade above him, I had just moved from Kentucky, and I came to Magcon with my friends to meet the guys but I wasn't a die hard fan and I did it more for my friends than for me. I told him that I lived in the same town as him and that we went to school together and he said he had never seen me before. After we talked for a couple hours, Hayes had to leave. We traded numbers and promised each other we would hang out soon. He texted me as soon as he got in the car and our friendship began. We hung out plenty of times after that day and our friendship grew better and better. We began to know each other so well, we didn't have to speak to know what each of us was thinking. Then one day a couple months later, Hayes took me to the lake on his family trip. He took me for a boat ride and as we were sitting on the boat, he asked me out. I said yes and he was ecstatic! I was in shock that Hayes Grier was my boyfriend. That out of all the girls in the world, out of all the girls who cry over him, he picked the one who fainted in his arms. And thus, our relationship began. Now five months later, Hayes is 14 and I'm 15 and Magcon has been long gone.
Hayes and I watched a movie until dinner and I sat down with Liz, their mom; Hayes, Nash, and Sky and we had mac and cheese. At Skylynn's request of course. After dinner I got picked up by my mom and I stayed up all night thinking about how our friendship came about and turned into the best relationship I've ever had.
