shinki felt his heart skip a beat when he saw her walking down towards their direction

her hair was disheveled sticking to her face in a loose burn

her top had rips in the sleeves and her looked dusty

she was wearing no shoes and he guissed she probably lost them

and yet she walked with so much confidence and dignity and it would seem she was not aware of her state

from behind her he could make out the other two members of the inoshikacho formation and beside them was team seven close behind

he could make out the the worried and uneasy look they were exchanging

only the snake boy had a calm look and even he kept glancing at the akimichi with a wierd expression from time to time

" chocho！"

he heard the chief of the akimichi clan exclame with worried lacing his voice

" dad"

chocho called out with a smile and she skipped the couple of steps seperating them and she was by her fathers side in moments

her mother pulled her a hug looking worriedly at her dishavled form

" what happened" karui akimichi aked her daughter

chocho smiled in a gentle way glancing a bit at her visibly worried dad who would have probably crushed her in a hug if not for the presence of some akimichi elders

" umm...well that...you see i actualy was on my way to buy chips and suddenly they was this blast so i decided to use the teleportation jutsu dad taught me but i ended up teleporting into some old creepy cave...it was already dark...so i wairmted until it was morning to come back..."

chocho was taken aback at how natural her voice was, so damn convincing

her mother was silent for a bit and so was her dad

she refused to look directly into their eyes, she was afraid they would figure her stories were lies...well most of them enyway

" chocho...

her dad called snd she measured enough courage to look him directly in the eyes

" are you sure thats exactly what happened" he asked with a stern voice

chocho felt a lump in her throat,she didn't remember the last time her dad spoke to her like that

" yes"

she said

" mitsuki is that true"

" mitsuki？"

chocho could not believe her dad was actaully asking mitsuki

"  yes mr akimichi"

chocho turned around to see his expression but found it blank, his eyes were on her and she could not understand what they meant

she frowned a bit when he gave her that signature smile

" alright then that's enough commotion today, lets just all go home"

her mom suggested and her dad said something else about having a meeting with some akimichi elders and the rest she did not much attention to

" well i should be going home now" sarada spoke up as she gave chocho one last hug promising to visit her soon before walking away with  boruto trailing behind her

" looks chubs i..."

" am tired inojin...another time"

inojin seemed a little reluctant but eventualy sighed
