Part: 47 Happiness

Sidharth stepped into the room from the balcony and found Shehnaaz, standing in front of the mirror. She was applying lipgloss. He strolled toward her. She passed him a smile, looking at him through the mirror.

"Are you going somewhere ?"He asked, snaking his arms around her from behind.

She shivered with his touch. "Yup, NGO. Back to the work."

"That's great. I'm happy to see you so positive, my star. Just always stay like this." Both were looking at each other through the mirror.

"I love you." He confessed and gave a kiss on her neck, just below her ear. She closed her eyes and felt so good when his lips touched her skin.

She turned toward him and cupped his face. "You made me look at the positive side, Sidharth. Thank you." She murmured before kissing his lips.

"Never say thank you to me." He scolded her.

"Then what?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Just kiss me here." He smirked and pointed his finger at his lips. She flushed and her eyelashes moved down. He chuckled softly.

"Okay?" He asked, pulling her chin up with his index finger. She smiled shyly at him and nodded her head in response.

"Now, you get ready. I'm going to the office and I'll drop you." He said after kissing her forehead. She smiled and nodded her head.

Sidharth stopped the car in front of the gate of the NGO. She opened her seatbelt.

"Take care of yourself." He murmured, stroking her cheeks. He was worried for her because after that worst incident, for the first time, he was leaving her alone.

"Don't worry, I'm fine now." She blinked her eyes and put her hand on his hand.

He smiled and moved forward to kiss her forehead. "I love you." He whispered, looking at her.

"I love you too, Sidharth." She whispered, moving her fingers over the dark stubble on his cheeks.

He held her hand and kissed her knuckles after bringing them close to his lips. She smiled and hugged him before climbing out of the car.

"Bye, Sidharth." She waved to him, smiling at him, standing outside. He smiled, waving back and she went inside.

He rolled the key to start the car, then only his phone started ringing which was inside his pocket. He slid his hand into the pocket and took out the phone. Shivansh's name was flashing on the screen and he closed his eyes dejectedly.

"Hi." He sighed deeply before answering the call.

"I wanna meet you, Sidharth."

"I'm coming to meet you only."

"I'm waiting."

"How.. how are you, Shivansh?" Sidharth was stammering because of his guilt.

"I'm fine, don't worry. Just wanna meet you."

Sidharth sighed. "I'm just coming." They hang up the call.

"I just hope, he is really fine." He murmured to himself before starting the car.

Sidharth was waiting for Shivansh, sitting in the living area, on the couch. He was twiddling his thumbs and he was looking down on the floor. For the first time, he was afraid to meet him because he was guilty of breaking his marriage.

He heard his footsteps and sighed deeply, closing his eyes. He raised his head to look at him and stood up.

"Hi." Shivansh hugged him warmly and he was a bit shocked.

Shivansh broke the hug and Sidharth was staring at him in disbelief because he was behaving as nothing had happened.

"Sit." Shivansh asked him to sit. Both settled down on the couch.

"Are you fine, Shivansh?" Sidharth asked concernedly.

He smiled slightly. "I'm happy."

Sidharth was staring at him surprisingly. He was shocked and happy both at the same time, seeing him fine utterly.

"I know, you are shocked to see me like this. But I'm happy for you and Shehnaaz. I have always wished to see you both happy and why would I be sad when finally you both are happy? I love you and Shehnaaz. I just want both of your happiness."

Sidharth hugged him tightly getting speechless. Shivansh hugged him back, having a smile on his face.

"I was so scared to face you. But now I'm so relieved after seeing you like this. You are a great person, Shivansh and I'm so glad to have a friend like you." Sidharth said happily after breaking the hug.

"Nobody can come in between our friendship, Sidharth. You were my best friend, you are my friend and you will always remain my best friend. Our friendship is unbreakable." Shivansh said placing his hands on his shoulder. Sidharth nodded his head, having tears in his eyes.

"I'm so happy." Sidharth smiled broadly.

"By the way, how is Shehnaaz ?" Shivansh asked concernedly.

"Better but I don't know when she would be recovered completely from that incidence," Sidharth said tensely.

"Don't worry, she will be fine with time. I am coming for dinner tonight. I wanna talk to her too." Shivansh put her hand on his shoulder.

Sidharth smiled slightly. "Shehnaaz would be so happy after seeing you like this."

Sidharth came to the office after visiting Shivansh. He happily called Shehnaaz after getting free, sitting in his cabin. He was so happy and relieved after meeting Shivansh.

"Hi," he smiled broadly as he heard his star's sweet voice.

"Hi, my star. I have a surprise for you." He happily told her.

"What ?" Shehnaaz asked excitedly.

"Come back home, you will come to know."

"But, I want to know now."

"It's a surprise, Shehnaaz. You tell me how's your day going?" He tried to change the topic.

"My day is going well. I'm happy to be back at work. But I'm missing you a lot."

He smiled cheerfully. "I am missing you too, my star."

"Okay bye, Sidharth. I'll meet you tonight. I have some work. And I love you a lot."

"I love you more and take care." He cut the call, having a smile on his face.

"Finally, everything is getting normal." Sidharth sighed, resting his head against the back of the chair.
