Guardian Vampire

Lying

I lay in bed just thinking how the heck I got to sleep last night. I put my hand in the air and something shot out breaking some of the ceiling.

"What was that?"

I keep my hand to myself just staying silent. Tanya comes in and ask me if I want to take a walk with her. I nod and she picks me out some sweat shorts and a tank top. She helps me put it on along with my sneakers. She put my hair into a high ponytail and we left. We started talking about colors and pie. It made us miss being alive. When went home we went and sat in the living room. We started talking when I saw my worst nightmare. I started stuttering.

"J...J...J...."

"What Bella?" I pointed to James standing in the doorway. I got off on Tanya's lap and started to walk towards him.

"Isabella? Do you know how long I have searched for you?! I'm going to freaking kill you!"

"Not if I kill you first."

"You can't kill me."

"Don't bet on it." I held out my hand and was about to kill him, but daddy grabbed my arm to stop. I looked up at him with hurt in my eyes. All he did to me and I'm not even allow to kill him? That's messed up.

"Bella we don't resort to violence."

"Seriously!? All he did to me. Oh my gosh!" I put my arms down and run upstairs. Before I close the door to my room. I shout something that I regreted as soon as James got arrested again.

"Isabella Erin Cullen! Who is Mary?"

"Mary was the woman who took care of me after mommy and daddy died. Then she got cancer and died."

"Oh. Okay...but, why did you shout that to him? It mad him com towards you!"

"Mommy, I can still kill him myself. I have powers."

"No you have privleges of powers. Pretty soon you'll be going back to school."

"Dang it. But, what if no one likes me?"

"Bella everyone will love you. You know how I know? We have Alice."

I giggled. But then my face got sad as I realized I stopped aging and my birthday was tomorrow. Tears started rolling down my face.

"How in the world?"

"What?" I asked while wiping away a tear.

"How are you crying? Vampires don't cry."

"Well this one does. Try fake crying."

"Okay." Mommy tried to cry and soon enough tears were rolling out of her eyes too.

"Wow Bella. We can finally act normal now with eating and stuff. Maybe we won't sparkle in the sunlight and can finally go outside with other people. I'm hungry."

"Okay me too. Can we have pancakes? Please?"

"Of course."

We go downstairs and everyone is in the kitchen. Alice is already making pancakes.

"I'm so glad we can feel like were alive again. I saw the future and we can age up now. We have birthdays but we don't change the way we look now. We can finally be warm and cold again. We're alive but dead! Its amazing!" Alice beams.

"Well I'm glad you guys are happy. I walk into the living room and watch TV. I'm still waiting for the pancakes to finish. When they did finish I went in and everyone looked at me.

"If I'm being kicked out I'm fine with that."

"Nothing." Everyone says.

I look at all of them them with, with strange faces is making me curious.

"Whats happened?"

"Okay Bella don't freak out, but James was released. Five minutes ago. They called." Edward said.

"EDWARD!?" They yell.

"What? What you thought that she shouldn't know? You guys know I can't keep a secret."

I'm standing there frozen. My head slowly turns when I hear the doorknob turn.

"I walk to the door. I open it and just stare."

"Bella...you knew it was me. Don't be afraid. I'm just going to kill you now."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"No. Why do you abuse people?! Your solitary, I get that, but don't you want friends. You wouldn't have to be alone anymore. You could find another wife. Mary was great, but shes gone. I've moved on. You should too."

"I've never thought of that before. I thought my life was over. I'll go make some friends and not kill you. Sorry I have a knife in my hand."

"Your not going to find friends. Your still going to kill me, aren't you?"

"Yes! Who gives two craps about anything you said. I just want to end you!" He stabs me, no blood. He keeps stabbing me. Nothing.

"What the?! What are you?"

"Your worst nightmare." I took the knife out of his hand and stabbed him in the leg. Then the powers I have, I killed him. (# AWESOME VIOLENCE!!!!)

"Bella...?" I turn around and look at Esme. Everyone behind her looking at me with shock.

I look at them and say in a clear voice.

"My mother was nothing like this. She was the one who told me Everything."

"Bella, I didn't want to tell you because-"

"No Esme! You lied to me. I hate you!" I run upstairs and shut the door. I put a chair under it to stop them from coming in. I open the window and jump out. I run into the woods on the grassy area. I Lay there when I see I see a familiar face. Devin.

"What are you doing here? Before you say anything, I just want to say I sorry. I didn't mean those things. I just, was mad! Who bites people?! I know babies do it, but adults? Your on a whole other level dude. A very cold level too."

"I know, That's why I came to give you this stuffed giraffe. I won it in a contest, for you." He gives me a friendly smile. This time I smile back. I hug him and he picks me up. I hear talking behind us.

"Put her down Devin!" Esme yells.

"Yeah! Leave her alone!" Emmett yells.

Devin puts me down and I stand next to him.

"Mommy no. He just came to give me a stuffed giraffe. I thought of it and so I went to get it." I'm a little nervous right now. I think mommy can tell because I'm going back and forth on my tippy toes. I had to come up with some lie to get Devin out of trouble. It's not working so well.

"Okay Bella. You got it, now lets go." She sounds hesitated.

I hug Devin and run to mommy. She picks me up and walks me back to the house, were then I am sent straight to bed. No questions, or concerns. It's like she was mad at me for going to get something. She's mad...really mad. When I got to my room and closed the door, I heard a yell, followed by something dropping, and smashing. Looks like I'm out of the picture. For Sure.
