"Sam, can we go get my slingshot?" Rose asked.

"I almost forgot! Don't worry, I know where they are" Sam exclaimed.

"Okay, but let's make it quick" I said.
I realized Isabella hadn't said anything to Sam and so I looked back at her and she still had the sheet white complexion to her. I wonder why she was so scared...

Sam led us up the steps and down a narrow hallway. She finally turned into a room at the end of the hallway. Inside was tons of weapons on dozens of racks. It looked like they were preparing for war.

Sam went and grabbed a slim sword and Rose's slingshot. "Alright, let's go meet your friends" Sam said.

We walked back down the hallway and opened the front door... Right into two dozen demigods.

I frantically looked around to see if it was actually Adrian and Chris. No familiar face was in sight, until I saw three that I knew for all my life and hope to never see again. Doug, Kyle, and Emilio.

"Hello Vande" Doug said wryly. "Wonderful to see you again"

"What are you doing here?!" I asked in complete shock.

"It's a long story, but hey, we have all the time in the world" Doug said. "After you left on your quest, they all told us what you were doing and I thought
"Hey Doug, your 10 times the person Vande is, you could easily get more kids than he could" so I got Kyle and Emilio to join me and we followed you along your journey"

How could this have happened without us noticing?

"For the first couple ones we told them that you were actually rogue and they believed us" Doug said. "We even talked to Jayden. You remember him don't you? The one that killed Danny. Well anyway, after your separation with Chris and Adrian, that man, Matalel, approached us and enlisted us to help him defeat you"

Dam Matalel, he's caused all of our problems so far.

"So we all followed you until Iris. Iris was a groundbreaker" Doug said. "Thanks to your friend Bex here, we were able to Iris message an Apollo child without even visiting there"
I looked around and saw Bex. She, like Isabella had been since coming with us, was sheet white and looked scared for her life.

I looked over to Isabella, "Did you know about this?" I asked.

Isabella just stood there and somehow got paler than she already was.

"We've been here ever since, seeing as Matalel took care of the Hades children" Doug said.

"You know I never thought you'd sink to this low, but I guess I was wrong" I said.

"Let's settle this right now" Doug said. "Just me and you. If I win, you surrender your group. If you win, I'll surrender mine"

"Sounds good. Hope you know you're going to lose" I said confidently.
