"canaria! are you okay? does your body still hurt? do you need more medication?"
octavianus rambles on and on, canaria just woke up from her slumber and was rather confused on what happened. "please calm down brother, did something happen?"
octavianus sighs before explaining the situation. the prince and canaria were walking around the garden when suddenly an assassin ambushed them. he was aiming for the prince and because he was in canaria's line of view, she quickly shoved the prince. unfortunately, he missed his target and hits canaria instead.
"we shouldn't have left the two of you with just a maid! i'm sorry, can. i'm really sorry for not being able to protect you..." he hugs her tightly with his arms trembling. canaria pats his back, soothing the crying male. "it's okay brother, it wasn't your fault. i was reckless. but I'm fine now so it's okay."
he nods before releasing you from the warm hug. just in time, the prince opens the door and runs to your side. "lady astrelle! do you feel any pain? should i call the royal doctor here to examine you more thoroughly?"
"no, it's okay prince serhan. i don't feel any pain at all!" she smiles at him. octavianus decided to leave the two of you alone to talk about it. prince serhan watches her smile gently at him, not a hint of malicious intent or hate could be seen.
