"Why is there blood everywhere this time?" My sister asked nonchalantly. It wasn't uncommon for me to fake a crime scene for my forensic science class.
"I might have accidentally aggressively poked someone with a knife," I admitted, lowering my head.
"You stabbed someone?!" She seemed to laugh her head off.
"I aggressively poked someone with a knife," I repeated with dead certainty.
"You aren't joking around, are you?" She looked me dead in the eye.
"Nope." I pulled out the bloodied knife from beside me as proof.
"What'd they do to deserve it?" She shrugged and sat down on the couch. I must have talked so much about forensics at one time that must have accidentally desensitized my sister to murder. Well, that's no good... or was it?
"Meh. You know." I lay on the other side of the couch, but still facing her. "The dude took candy from a baby."
