Sorry if I'm not good with their personalities. I'm not really used to writing these characters, so I'm trying my best. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. This is also going to be kind of a short chapter, but there will be a lot more action in the coming chapters.
Rey ran out of the cluster of little houses. She saw a familiar ship touching down. The ramp opened up to reveal Poe, Finn, and BB-8. She ran towards them.
"Hey guys! I'm so glad you could come!"
"We're glad to be here!" Finn said."
"It's nice to see you again." Poe said.
BB-8 made a series of happy sounds. Rey laughed.
"I'll show you around the island." Rey said.
Finn, Poe, and BB-8 nodded and followed her.
"We'll end at the village." Rey explained, "I want to show you guys something first. Luke says not to go by it, but I can feel it calling to me. It's kind of hard to explain."
"Okay..." Poe said, "I'll admit, you lost me."
"Yeah, me too." Finn agreed.
Rey stayed silent as she led them to the edge of a cliff. "Look." She said, pointing to below the island."
Finn, Poe, and BB-8 stared at the giant gaping black hole.

"That's just creepy." Poe stated.
"It looks like slimy black vines are coming out of it." Finn agreed.
Even BB-8 whirred nervously.
"Let's get a closer look." Rey said, "Luke won't be watching us. Besides, if he can't see us, he'll just think I'm showing you another part of the island.
BB-8 made a series of fast beeping sounds.
"I agree with BB-8." Poe said, "that sounds like a terrible idea."
Rey, however, had already jumped down to the little shelf that the hole stood on.
"Well, I guess we better follow her." Finn said. He then proceeded to start climbing down the slippery cliff. Poe shrugged.
"You stay here BB." He told BB-8. The small droid nodded his head.
Poe started climbing down after Finn. They were about halfway down when they felt themselves being lifted from the wall and set gently on the ground. The two men turned around and saw Rey staring at them.
"I can hear it's call even better from down here." She said, mesmerized. The three friends walked closer to the hole.
"Uhh... should we maybe go back up?" Finn asked.
"Sure." Rey started, when one of the vines coming out of the hole wrapped around her ankle and started pulling her in.
"Rey!" Finn screamed. He and Poe ran and grabbed on to her hands, trying to pull her up.
"BB-8, go get the old dude!" Poe shouted. BB-8 nodded and whizzed away to go find Luke.
Rey was slowly being pulled out of the vines grasp, when two more vines shot out and grabbed Poe and Finn. The three companions were dragged into the hole.
And then they were falling. Falling, and spiraling down. The ground was coming fast. And then they stopped and were set down gently.
"Rey, where are we?" Poe asked.
"I'm not sure." Rey said. She was looking at a mirror wall. Suddenly, as if in a trance, she reached out to touch it.
"I'm not sure if that's such a good idea." Poe warned, but it was too late. Rey's fingertips grazed the glass, and it shattered.
Behind the wall was a swirling mass of darkness. Rey walked toward it.
"Rey, what are you doing? I don't think that's a very good idea." Finn said.
"For once, I actually agree with Finn." Poe said, "that is an awful idea."
"There's no other way out. Unless you'd like to try and climb?" Rey turned around and walked through the black portal.
"Well, I guess we should probably follow her." Poe said.
Finn sighed, "Yeah, we should."
The two friends stepped into the black. They fell down, down, down, and landed on the ground next to Rey. She was standing there, silent.
Finn stood up and brushed himself off. "Rey, what's wrong?" He asked.
"This place." Rey said, "it feels familiar."
