Here you go, @nolaseverus. A special thank you to @WingsofFireHybrid for the idea of this chapter. You are amazing.

Third Person POV (Following Ahsoka)

Rey, Poe, Finn, and Ahsoka had found a cave where they could stay the night. Poe and Finn had finally managed to make a reasonably good campfire to keep them warm.

Rey sat at the edge of the flickering flames, thinking. She was sure that she had heard the name Ahsoka Tano before. 'But where?' She thought. Looking up at Finn and Poe, she saw the two of them talking softly.

Ahsoka sat outside of the light that the campfire gave off, meditating. She had been asleep for 53 years, and she wanted to know what was going on in the galaxy. Definitely not a good idea. She saw Chancellor Palpatine, issuing Order 66. That was what had  caused the clones to attack her. She saw Jedi all over the galaxy dying, until only a few remained. She jerked out of the meditation. She needed to take that all in until she continued catching up on what had happened while she had been asleep. Maybe it would be better to ask Rey. Ahsoka would probably be able to handle what had happened better if someone were telling her. She moved over to sit by Rey, who was deep in thought.

"Mind if I sit here?" Ahsoka asked.

Rey looked up, startled. "No, have a seat." She said.

"What were you thinking about?" Ahsoka asked.

"Nothing." Rey said quickly. "Anyway, couldn't you just look into my mind and see?"

Ahsoka shrugged. "I guess, but I don't really like to violate people's privacy. If you truly don't want me to know what you were thinking about, I respect that."

Rey looked at Ahsoka. She had never met anyone quite like her. "When do you come from?" She asked.

Ahsoka wondered how Rey knew she was from a different time, but brushed aside that thought when she realized it was probably pretty obvious. "I'm from the Clone Wars. I was teleported here when the clones turned and shot me. According to the Son, I've been asleep for fifty three years."

Rey's mind started working overtime. 'Tano, Tano, Tano. Where have I heard the name Tano?" She thought. Then it came to her. "You created the Marg Sabl technique!" She exclaimed. "I read about you in an old military book."

(If you're wondering what the Marg Sabl technique is, it's what Ahsoka did in Storm Over Ryloth in the Clone Wars.)

Ahsoka smiled. "Yes, that's me." She said. "I'm glad my tactic has been useful."

"It has." Rey gushed. She had always been very interested in the Marg Sabl tactic. "Who is the Son?" She suddenly asked.

Ahsoka's face fell. "He's basically the living embodiment of the Dark Side of the Force."

"What does he want with you?" Rey asked.

"I'm not exactly sure, but I have a hunch." Ahsoka replied. She looked nervous.

"What is it?" Rey inquired.

"A long time ago, I came here with some friends of mine. At that time, there were two others like the Son. The Daughter, or the Light Side of the Force, and the Father, the Balance. Together they maintained the balance, the Father keeping the Son and Daughter in check. We came here because the Father wanted to test my Master, Anakin Skywalker to see if he was the Chosen One."

Rey sucked in a breath when she heard the name of Darth Vader. Ahsoka clearly did not know what had become of her Master.

"As it turned out, he was. The Father wanted Anakin to stay and help keep the Balance, but he refused. As we were leaving, the Son kidnapped me and took me to his fortress. He bit me." Ahsoka shuddered then took a deep breath before continuing. "And turned me to the Dark Side. He forced me to fight Anakin and another friend of mine, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan had a dagger that he could use to cut the Dark Side out of me. I took the dagger from him and gave it to the Son. He took it... and then tapped me on the head and sucked out my life force. I don't remember the rest, but from what Anakin told me after, the Son went to kill the Father with the dagger, but the Daughter saved him. In doing so, she got stabbed with the dagger. As she was dying, her last act was to use her life force to bring me back to life."

"Woah." Rey said, eyes wide.

"And the rest is history." Ahsoka finished. "How did you get here?" She asked.

"There was this pit of darkness that we went too close to. It pulled us in before we could do anything. We told out droid to tell my Jedi Master, Luke what happened. Hopefully he comes to help us. What we need to do now is figure out how to get out of here. We don't know if Luke will even come."

Why did the name Luke sound so weird to Ahsoka? So familiar. She had never met anyone named Luke before. No, she needed to get off of Mortis first. Just then, Ahsoka thought of something. "I think I know how to get out of here." She announced. "You said you came here through a pit of darkness? Well there is a well of the Dark Side here as well. Maybe the two are linked."

"It's worth a shot." Rey said.

The two girls got up to go wake the boys up. They had no idea how long of a day they had before them.
