Drowning

Chapter 20

I woke up the next morning to hear Ross' soft breaths as he slept. I watched his chest slowly rise then fall. I layed in bed until Ryland woke up.

"Hey" He whispered.

(In case you didn't know Ryland and Ross share a room so... But every R5er should know that)

"Hey" I whispered.

We talked until I decided to get up. I sat up then slowly crawled out of bed, careful not to wake Ross up. All of a sudden pain shot threw my stomach where my shot wound is.

"Ahh!" I nearly screamed and fell then Ross jumped up.

"Lexie!" Ryland said and jumped up.

They both ran over to me.

"Are you okay baby?" Ross asked.

I closed my eyes tight and grinded my teeth together as I held my wound. After the pain went away I looked up.

"I'm fine" I said.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you guys, or wake you up" I said.

"It's fine" Ryland and Ross said in unision.

I slowly got up with the help of Ross then walked into the bathroom.

"Ross, will you ask Rydel if she has any clothes I can borrow?" I asked.

"Sure babe" He said and walked out then I jumped in the shower.

A couple minutes later Ross walked in and layed the clothes down then walked out. After I finished showering I jumped out and wrapped my hair and body in a towel. I saw that Rydel lent me a plaid shirt, some jean shorts, and some black high top converse. Were like the same size in everything so she's a life saver. I put the outfit on then left my hair down then ran over to Rydels room.

"Can I borrow some of your makeup?" I asked.

"Yea" She said and I walked over to her vanity mirror. I put on some eyeliner, mascara, concealer, and foundation.

"Thanks!" I said and walked out.

I ran downstairs and sat at the table with everyone else. I covered my plate with a pancake and a few pieces of bacon. I finished my food and put my plate in the sink then sat next to Ross on the couch.

"I love you Shor" I said.

"I love you too, Rae" He said, reffering to my middle name, and I made a nasty face.

He laughed.

"Eww! Your middle name is cute! Mines... Ugh!" I said and he chuckled.

He kissed my nose and I smiled. Snap! I looked up to see Rydel with her phone.

"Aww!" She said.

She showed me the picture. It was Ross kissing my nose and me smiling. It's kind of adorable. My phone beeped and I saw that Rydel had tweeted the photo with the caption "#Rexie" and I smiled and tweeted back.

@Lexie_hates_you: Rexie is life!!

A fan took a screen shot of my comment and posted it then it went viral. I can't say I wasn't shocked. That's amazing. I smiled as I locked my phone and Ross kissed my cheek.

"Wanna go for a walk?" Ross asked.

"Sure" I said and we walked out.

We walked wherever our feet took us and laughed and talked about nothing.

"I have to tell you something" Ross said.

"Yea?" I asked.

"Me and my family is going on tour" He said and it felt like my heart dropped.
