Cody Johnson, One of the top indie stars, Finally makes it to the big leagues known as WWE. After about 6 years of dominance he looks to continue his ways. But little does he know, he has a even bigger challenge ahead of him.

*Friday Night Smackdown Tornoto Canada*
Cody arrived at the arena for Smackdown as Cody had a match to work. Behind the sence Cody and one of the WWE new signings who also happenes to be the current IC champion Ethan Bornue have in quite the war on social media. It gotten so bad that WWE management had booked a match against each other for the IC title. Ethan decided to raise the stakes and make it a ladder match.

Sasha wasn't booked on the show so she didn't come. Cody FaceTimed her so they can talk before the show. After 3 rings she picked up.
Sasha: Hey Baby.
Cody: Hey Babe I just got to the arena.
Sasha: Alright how are you feeling?
Cody: I'm fine, sure it's my first ladder match but I should be ok.
Sasha: Alright, Kick some butt for me.
Cody: Will do, See you tonight.
Sasha: See ya tonight.
*Call Ended*

Greg: The following Contest is a LADDER MATCH, and it's is for THE INTERCONTINAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Greg: Introducing first from Tornoto Canada Weighing in at 205 lbs, He is the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION, THE ARCHER, ETHAN BORUNE!

reg: And his opponent from Atlanta Georgia, Weighing in at 235 lb, HE IS WWE CHAMPION, THE NIGHTNARE KNOWN AS: CODY JOHNSON!
Cody:
Cody made his way to the ring with nothing but confidence. He knew he had an advantage and he wasn't going to lose to a rookie that easily.
The bell rang as the match started. Cody and Ethan punched each other square in the face. Cody then connected with a clothesline
Then repeatedly stomping on him. He took sometime to taunt by saying.
Cody: You're not better than me. I'm better than you!
Cody decide to put him away with the Death Rider DDT. But Ethan reversed into a Blackout.

Ethan was on the ladder about to bring it down but Cody stopped him by powerbombing him.

Cody then proceeded to climb the ladder himself. He was about to unhook the title when he heard a theme.
It's was Otis coming out which gave enough of a distraction for Ethan to get him off the ladder. He quickly unhooked the title and retained the title.

Cody was pissed off because Otis costed the IC title. Cody couldn't wait to get his hands on him a Extreme Rules.
