*Smackdown 3 weeks before Wrestlemania*
Only 3 weeks away from the biggest sport event in history and the hype has never been bigger. This week's smackdown had a face to face confrontation with A.J Styles and Cody Johnson. Also Advertised was Sasha banks vs Alexa Bliss.
The show opened up with Cody Johnson and Sasha making there way to the ring coming out to Cody theme.
Cody got a microphone. He began to speak.
Cody: Let me say that even though I been in wwe for a short while, I can say, without a shadow a doubt, Its been one the best experiences of my life. 2 weeks ago at Fastlane me and my team fought the odds and I am not going to stop fighting.
Out came the bullet club and A.J already had mix in his hand.
A.J: So you fought the odds, impressive you and 4 other people beater the bullet club. Look it's happens most team get beated in match.
Cody: Ya but unlike most teams you guys technically lost your first match.
A.J Because It was a fluke. If Kebu wasn't in that match, Bullet Club would've won.
Cody: Ya right, you ran because you knew you were screwed. I can beat each and every one of you on my worst day.
A.J: I see you play tough guy alot. So why don't your money where mouth is. You vs The Bullet Club in a Gauntlet match. If you lose, You lose your shot at the WWE title.
Cody: Alright, but I win, I pick the stipulation.
A.J: You got yourself deal, a deal you'll soon regret.
*Later in the night*
Cody was putting the tape on his hand when Kayla came over.
Kayla: Cody tonight you will be defending your title shot in a Gauntlet match with all club members excluding A.J styles. Are you thinking that your road to the WWE Championship might be coming to an end.
Cody: Kayla, see I may make dumb decisions, and some people might say this is one of them. But I always tell myself never walk away from a fight that's worth fighting. And this one of those fights. Tonight to punch my ticket to wrestlemania by defeating all of A.J's little henchmen and then go on to wrestlemania take the WWE title.
Cody walks off because the match was next.
*In ring*
Greg: The Following this a Gautlet match. Introducing first, from Atlanta Georgia, weighing in at 255 lbs, The Nightmare, CODY JOHNSON!
Sasha walked to the ring with Cody, when the to ringside Sasha and Cody stared a kiss and whispered into Cody ear.
Sasha: Good luck.
Sasha then walked backstage while Cody got into the ring and waited in the ring for his first of 4 opponents.
Greg: And his first opponent, from Coral Springs Florida, weighing in at 210 lbs, he is a member of the Bullet Club. ADAM COLE!
CROWD/ADAM: ADAM COLE BAY BAY
Adam walked to the ring and got ready to start the Gautlet.
*Bell rings*
(A/N I am just gonna skip to part of match other wise the chapter will be 10000 words long)
*Skip*
Cody and Adam were having and back and forth battle, Counter after Counter. Adam try to hit a clothesline but Cody tripped with a knee taunt Adam Cole by doing his pose and going.
Cody: CODY JOHNSON BAY BAY!
Adam: No it's ADAM COLE BAY BAY!
Cody: CODY JOHNSON BAY BAY!
Adam: ADAM COLE BAY BAY!
Cody attempted to say Cody Johnson BAY BAY but got hit in the gut and the match continued.
*Skip to EOM*
Adam hitted the last shot but Cody kicked out a 2. Adam was frustrated at this point.
Adam: JUST GIVE UP!
He picked up Cody but hit by an CKO as Cody goes for the pin.
Ref: 1...2...3
Adam lost but Cody had 3 more opponents to go.
Karl was up next and the two just started throwing punches at each other.
*Skip to EOM*
The 2 match end fast as Karl as a little to easy for Cody, Cody hit the One Winged Devil and went for the pin.
Ref: 1...2...3
Halfway done and now Cody suspected who was next.
And he was right, Cody's next opponent was Karl's good brother, Luke Gallows.
*Skip to EOM*
Gallows gave Cody one heck of a beating but Cody was able to hold his own. Cody hit the CKO since he didn't think he would hit the One Winged Devil on Big LG, but as he was going for the pin. Karl came in and attacked Cody, leading to a DQ. Karl just beated down Cody and when Gallows got up, they setted up the Magic Killer and connected it. Luke and Karl went to the back as Cody laid down unconscious while his final opponent came out.
Finn took his time getting into the ring and when he did he just put one foot on Cody to pin.
Ref: 1...2..thr-
Cody some how at the very last second kicked out, to the shock of everyone.
Finn went to the top and attempted to hit the Coup de Grace, Cody rolled out and hit not only and CKO and a One Winged Devil, he decide to take it one step further. He set up the styles clash and hit it.
Ref: 1...2...3
Cody pulled out an impressive win in a Gauntlet. Sasha came out to celebrated. They Sasha a kiss before looked at the came camrea and said.
Cody: Tick tock A.J, tick tock.
He then the belt around waist with hand as the show ended.
