phones began ringing as soon as the news spread. the two weeks of quarantine had begun.
forced to stay at home with our families for "our safety." boy would this be fun.

sneaking out for leisurely strolls became a norm, as toilet paper became a softened gold that everyone would swarm.

everything, everywhere went on immediate shutdown. it truly was something to behold.
but what came afterwards was truly something no one could have foretold.

a call for two more months had schools virtually giving lectures.
but it was all too much to handle, too much pressure.

staying connected had slowly eased into becoming impossible.
even though we have unlimited technological access. literally inexhaustible.

and before we knew it, the days and months began to blur.
we all began to lose self worth, feeling like nothing but a whisper.

every day just feels the same. and we're just so tired.
