I sat on the chair as granny and her stylist worked their so called ‘magic’ on me. My friends kept making faces and tried to make small talks so that we don't get bored. Granny liked them so she wasn't bothered by them being with us here. I smiled when Sean walked in wearing a black shirt with his normal black pants.
“Why is my wife sitting there annoyed?” he asked and I rolled my eyes.
“You are the cause of this you-” he placed a finger on my lips and I tried to bite it but granny held me back.
“Hold still, tiger. I thought you wanted to be done with this,” I groaned when she said so and Lindsey chuckled before pulling her phone out and looking at it with a smile.
“My ride is here,” she said and started hugging her friends.
“Love you cutie,” she said to me and walked out of the room after I had waved at her.“Which dress did you decide on?” Sean asked and I looked at him with sad eyes. How can he be so mean? I haven't even eaten anything.
“I need to get off the chair first, Sean,” I said and the makeup artist pulled away to look at me in adoration. The girls stared at me like I was their first love and I smiled before looking at Sean who looked indifferent.
“Now you are off the chair, which dress are you going with?” he asked and I looked away from him and to the mirror, ignoring his question. Was I not pretty for him?
“I think the green one will do,” Sean looked at the dress before looking back at me with wide eyes. The dress was hideous.
“That thing?” he asked pointing at the dress like it was the most hideous thing he had ever seen and I smiled at him, I wanted him to tell him how she looked. Even if it was with a proud nod, or a lick on his lips. Or maybe let his eyes speak the words his mouth couldnt utter.
“It's pretty, isnt it?” asked walking to the dress. I knew it wouldnt suit me. Yet I wouldnt mind wearing it to make him angry.
“We agreed on black or red, why the sudden change now?” I turned to him with a smirk. He agreed on those colors after leaving me in the kitchen. Alone.
“You agreed on black or red, I don't owe you nothing.”
“Floyd won't be eearing anything green.”
“I don't care, even if he wore pink I wouldn't give a flying damn,” I said and he looked at the people around us as they stared at us like we were some movie.
“Excuse us please,” they got out and he stared at me with pained expression.
“You didnt tell me how I look.”
“I don't want a sample, I want the whole picture,” he said and I smiled before pulling the red dress from the racks and showing it to him. He smiled and pecked my forehead again. My idiot SpongeBob husband.
“I will wait outside,” he said and walked out. The ladies walked back in and granny smiled with mischief.
“I have a better idea,” she pulled another dress from the racks and showed it to me, I instantly fell in love with it. It had everything Sean wanted, sexiness, blackness, redness, and seductiveness and the danger zone.
“I will take it,” granny smiled before handing the dress to me. I headed to the bathroom and put it on before admiring myself in the mirror. I looked like a goddess indeed.
