Willows POV

Floyd and I were dancing to the soft music being played. My eyes were on Roland who was talking to one of the men at the other side of the room. The house Sean got for him was huge. It made the story of him being the mafia leader believable, he was doing a great job. Even though something in me stopped me from truly believing his act. He did look like a good man who was in this for money. But I believe he wouldnt mind crossing us if he was given a chance.

“What are you thinking about?” Floyd asked, spinning me around and holding me at arm length. He looked into my eyes and I looked at Roland before looking back into Floyds eyes.

“Well, there is something about Roland. I cant put my finger on what, but he is dodgy,” he looked at Roland then back at me. He smiled and pulled me upstairs. I thought maybe he wanted a release, until he pulled me to the balcony, we could see everyone from here. The way they all danced put my life to shame.

“Now you can see everyone,” Floyd said and I rolled my eyes. He stood behind me and rested his hands on my waist.

“Look at Roland,” my eyes went back to Roland who was now talking to a bunch of ladies.
“Look at his hand, the tattoo,” I stared at the cobra tattoo on Rolands hand. I remember seeing it somewhere, but I couldnt remember where.

“I saw it.”

“Where?” I shut my eyes to try and remember but apparently, closing your eyes does not help you remember. It just makes you look a bit awkward.

“Remember when I saw you, at the beach house?” I turned to him and he smiled.

“Yeah?” I said and he bit his lower lip, his eyes resting on my exposed breast area.

“Remember the man you saw before me?” he asked and it all started coming back. Roland is that man. But the one I saw was so familiar, like I had seen him before in dads study. I was a kid but I remember his face like I saw it yesterday.

“He was not Roland.”

“He was his long lost brother. Roland never went to jail,” he whispered and I turned to look at Roland, the doors opened and Sean walked in with his team. I looked back at Floyd and shook my head.

“You are the one who wanted him,” he nodded and I chuckled. He still wanted to kill Sean.

“Of course, your husband is a SpongeBob guy. I always finish my mission, and tonight will be the last time you see him,” he said and my eyes locked with his. He meant every single word.

“You can go and spend quality time, my love,” he said and kissed my forehead. I don't know if I was shocked or paralyzed or both. But I was worried for both, mostly for Sean. The men in Sean's team are technically playing team Floyd. Every single one of them.

“You can't do that, Floyd,” I said, staring deep into his eyes hoping to see his soul. But the walls he hid his soul in were built way higher than the eye can see

“Who's gonna stop me?” he asked and smirked before walking away. I was staring at his back, his Nutella breath fading with every step he took away from me. I walked toward the stairs and before I could go down, he held my hand and I turned to him.

“You have forty-five minutes. Thats until midnight. The spell will be broken,” he said and disappeared into one of the rooms. I rushed down the stairs and landed in Seans hands.

“You look pale,” he said and I shook my head. Words failing to leave my lips. Darius and the others were staring at me, all six of them waiting for me to say something.
