Hallow’s POV
I stared at Sean and Floyd as they paced across the room. I sighed and walked to the cribs, the kids were sleeping. They didn’t want to sleep last night, their mother still haven’t come back.
“Any luck?” granny asked and I shook my head, I knew I would be able to find my sister if only Floyd would let me leave the house. Since Willow disappeared, they won’t let anyone go out of the house. We are living like prisoners.
When Sean and Floyd got to the beach where Willow was supposed to be, they found ther rubber band Sean gave her but she was nowhere to be seen.
“Even Jace can’t locate her,” Sean said and I looked at Angelica who looked like she wanted to say something but she was holding back.
“We will find her,” I said and walked to Angelica.
“Sup?”
“Can you help me with my make up?”
“I don’t-” Before I could reply, she held my elbow and shouted ‘thank you’ pulling me to her bedroom. Bradley was busy staring at the baby. He and Sean are so weird.
“I found where she might be,” she said and my eyes went wide.
“Where?” she looked at Bradley who didn’t even know we were here.
“Mandy has a house in Miller Street, do you think we can go check it out?”
“If she was there, Sean would have found her by now.”
“No, Sean is busy stressing and he would never suspect Mandy. It’s worth a shot.”
“Fine, let me tell Floyd then we can-”
“No,” she cut me off and held my hands.
“If you tell them then we will be locked in the house with the babies. We could just go there alone.”
“You are right,” I said and nodded my head before pulling her out of the room and downstairs. Celin was chatting with Darius when she saw us.
“Can you help us with make up?” I asked and she smiled looking at me, I told her I would never apply make up on my face. Yet here I am.
“Darius, can you leave us?” Angelica asked and he nodded, getting up and leaving the kitchen, he headed upstairs.
“We found some clues, we can find Willow.”
“Really?” I nodded my head and held her hand. We walked to her bedroom and I locked the door. I looked through her wardrobe and found normal clothes, I took them for Willow and turned to them.
“We won’t be allowed to leave the house or the yard. That’s Floyd’s order to his men, we might need to get rough. You girls ready?” I asked and they both nodded. Angelica took a gun from the bed and Celin took a agger from under the pillow.
We walked to the window and I got out first, followed by Celin then Angelica. We ran to the back gate and Angelica distracted the guard while we made it through. He walked to the other direction before Angelica ran toward us.
We hailed a cab that took us to Miller’s Street. Celin paid and we walked to the house that Angelica directed us to. We got inside and started looking around. No one was home, we had to find the office. We located the office and found folders on the table.
“Look at this,” Celin said and we rushed to her side and looked at the paper she was staring at. It was the address to ‘the spot’. I stared at the paper then at Celin.
“What could it be the spot for?”
“To get Willow pregnant,” Angelica said staring at another paper as she picked it up.
“She will die if she falls pregnant once more,” I said and the girls’ eyes went wide. I could feel movement behind me, I turned around and found Shirley and a funny looking girl at the door. I shook my head and crumbled the paper with the address and put it my pocket.
“Look what the cat dragged in,” Shirley said and walked toward me, she pulled her arrow out and pointed it at me. I smiled taking out my daggers, we fought like this once. She didn’t have a perfect shot, that was until Floyd trained her. But she is still inferior to me.
“How about we put the weapons away and fight naturally? To see who is better, me or you?”
“Fine,” she said and I placed my daggers on the table behind me, she placed her bow and arrow on the floor. She came to punch me but I held her fist and punched her gut. She doubled up and I used my heel to kick the top of her head. She backed up but still didn’t back out. She kicked my gut and before she could kick my face, I rolled down and picked her arrow, she didn’t get to attack as I sent the arrow to her stomach.
“Fuck,” the girl she came with whispered and tried to attack me, I pulled the dagger out from my boot and used my foot to kick the girl back, Shirley gripped my wrists and headbutted me. I stumbled back and cursed Floyd. Angelica came toward us and started fighting with the other girl while I fought with Shirley.
Victoria walked in and Celin got on her, Shirley started punching on my face. I was about to attack her with the arrow again when she held my wrist and stepped on my toes, my hand loosed around the arrow, giving her the time to yank it from my hands. She tried to attack but I moved out of the way and behind her. I wrapped my hand a round her neck from behind and scoffed.
“Good night,” I whispered before twisting her head and hearing a satisfying snap. Dad used to say, ‘No snap, no fun,’ and his words live on.
“Ahh!” I heard Celin yell in pain, I looked to where she was and found Victoria with her hand on her gut, my dagger in her hand. I pulled the other dagger on my ankle and threw it at Victoria. It hit her neck and she stepped away from Celin. A gun rang across the room as a body fell next to my feet. Another gunshot was heard and the girl fighting Angelica fell down.
“What the hell is wrong with you girls!?” Sean asked as Darius ran to Celin and picked her up, running with her out of the room. I stared at Sean then at Floyd. He sighed and walked toward me, he knew their rules were stupid.
“What’s wrong with you and Willow?” he asked and I sighed walking to the table I rummaged through the papers on the table.
“I won’t sit still while my sister is out there. How did you know where we were?” I asked and he pointed at his neck. Bloody idiot. I found nothing important.
“We found out why they took her,” I said and he stared at me in disbelief.
“We need to get out of here,” Sean said and I nodded at Angelica who held my hand and led me after Sean.
