As I march I feel the pain

Chapter 6

(AN sorry for the slow update, this chapter is going to be a set up chapter for the chapter after this which will probably be my most controversial chapter yet :D
1 year into the war

I open my eyes from my aura meditation as I look to Jack as lucario and I get up, I tell him that there are no enemies near. He still doesn't understand my aura powers, as we start to head back to base. I call charzard out and Jack calls out his pidgeot and we fly to base.
When we get there We give commander the report and move on. I sit down at my tent's chair and start to write a letter to Serena,

Dear Serena
It's hard to stay away from you but every night I think of your beautiful face and Willows, I miss the days when we would head to the ranch and see the Pokémon and and talk with Dawn and Gary. The weather has been nice here 80 degrees Fahrenheit with parsley cloudy skies. On a more serious matter we just had a battle 2 weeks ago and the losses where large, I still am have I got trouble getting the blood stains out of my shirt, We lost good men that day and many Pokémon, but we are still holding on to hope. I am doing fine I have a few scars but nothing bad, richu he was in the hospital for a day after the battle do to a ear injury but he is recovered also he now has a cool looking scar. I'm running out of time to write this so I miss you hope to see you soon.

I stand up and fold the letter and put it in the mail pile. I then head to the mess hall to get some food on the way I see a helicopter land, some troops and I check it out. When the helicopters door open up we see a bunch of new bites step out all happy. They see us and with a grin they ask for captain Ketchum, I tell them I'm here and they say there assigned to me and I show the way to the tent we have and say "you guys better be prepared because right now your replacing good men who lost there lives." They quite down and I continue to speak "but as long as you fallow my orders and don't get yourself or your friends killed you'll be fine." With that I walk away to chat with Jack and Luke as I silently cures Gary for getting to stay back home because he is so good with computers, he just has to stay and be on the computer and reports well I do the dirty work.
