As I march I feel the pain

Chapter 7

(AN sorry about this slow update Wattpad was not letting me write for awhile but I should be back now :XD )

Ash POV 1 year from last chapter
He's dead, I repeat over and over. Greninja is dead, I keep replaying the memory over and over, the mortar being launched it coming towards me and so new bites when he jumped up and grabbed it mid air and pulled it away from us but he couldn't move himself and he exploded. As I sit there richu walks over and try's to comfort me and I hiss "he's dead" richu doesn'tleabe me alon when I snap "he's dead leave me alone," I yell, he flinches and backs up when I realize what I had done. "I'm sorry richu I'm not myself greninja being dead hit me harder then I know" he wearily creaps up to me and I open my arms and hug him. He gets of to my displeasure and grabs the safari ball and puts it in my hand. I push it away and say "no I'm not replacing greninja with this thing" richu looks at me and makes some movement with his hands and from years of experience I can tell he's saying he won't replace greninja but he will be on our team. If your wondering why I have the safari ball it's because you have to have a full team at all times and they make it seam like you just forget about the Pokémon you lost, now back to the story. I pick it up and release the being inside, and what I see shocks me a large tyranatar stand ping before me, as I inspect it closer I realize some thing and say "Larvatar is that you" the tyranatar looks at me for a moment and a look of realization hits his face and he happily growls at me. For the first time in days I let out a smile, I then return him and promises to let him meet the rest of the team later. I sit there for a few minutes when greninja's death hits me like a semi-truck and tears flicker on my eyes but I stand up and slowly walk outside to head to the med tent, as I walk no one payed any attention to me, maybe it's the look in my eyes or the fact that in the last battle everyone lost someone, the battle went terribly for us with Kalos talking the clear as day victory. As I reach the med tent I see Jack standing there and I walk up and ask "Is Luke any better." Luke was hurt In the battle and I haven't heard much since. As I look for the reply, thwack. Richu tenses as Jack punches me closed fist in the stomach, the camp that was quite before fell into pure silence as I stumble back more surprised then hurt and I see Jacks eyes cold and filled with anger "Luke I'd dead thanks to those Kalos people, and well your here crying about a stupid Pokémon real men have died." I look hurt for a moment before my excretion hardens and say "don't talk about greninja like that, Pokémon are my family." Then Jack looks even more enrage and starts shouting "You cry for Pokémon and say the Kalosians are just like us when when there just scum that's murdering our men" right now Jack is shaking with anger and riches sparking but he won't attack Jack because he know the look and body expression, it's one of sorrow and he's taking his anger out but he's directing it at ash because he just said the wrong thing at the wrong time. "Greninja gave his live protecting kanto and my men so don't disrespect him. Then Jack almost loses it he shouts with pure anger that is now particularly directed at ash and Kalos "You cry for a Pokémon well Luke lays dead." With that the anger seeps out of my eyes and soon horror replaces it (AN were back to ash POV) and I say "I'm sorry I did not know." Jack now has tears streaming down his face when I quietly ask "L-Luke's dead, How." Jack looks up with some anger renewed but it's not as much directed towards me as others. "They-They said it missed his hart but I-It did not and he's dead he's dead."
(AN I have just a bit more f the story I can write before the plot may not be perfect but I want to hear your guys thoughts on this, do you think I should do a D-Day like event or no? Please let me know.
