Chapter 19: Wake me up

((This takes place in Chapter 17))

Brice's P.O.V

"I'm pregnant" Seto repeated louder, suddenly feeling more confident.

I looked at him in shock, and happiness.

We were going to have a baby!

"Oh my goodness Seto! We're going to be parents!" I shouted, joy overwhelmed my voice.

"I didn't kn-" He interrupted himself.

"Seto?" I asked, feeling concerned as to why he stopped talking,"what's the matter?"

"Brice I'm sorry-" he interupted himself again.

I began to feel more worried for my husband. His face twisted in pain, and tears started streaming down his face.

I shook his shoulders slightly, but he didn't seem to notice.

He started to cry, and blocking his face.

"Seto!?!" I shook him even more.

He closed his eyes and began to scream.

"SETO" I started to shake him harder, but not hard enough to hurt.

I would never hurt my kitty.

He then fainted in my arms. I looked at him, feeling disquiet. I carefully laid him on the sofa, and made my way to his books.

There has to be answers here.

Ok, I'm admitting this right now, I never understood the books Seto reads. Mostly because it was in Greek.

I flipped through some pages, until I came to one that said "Hybrid pregnancy Symptoms" ((UC:...I am a riddle master :3))

Finally things seemed to fall into place. I just need to wake Seto up, and somehow help him.

I walked over back to where Seto was and shook him awake.

His eyes fluttered open, and he looked around his surroundings. His tail went up slightly and his ears began to perk up.

His eyes finally met mine, and they were filled with fear. He backed away from me.

"Seto...it's okay" I assured him, reaching out to him carefully so he doesn't run away.

"Y-You hurt me..." he said, his voice lower than a whisper.

"It was a dream, Seto. Its a symptom for pregnancy. Seto, I'm very excited to raise this kid with you." I said.

He looked at me, hope, love, and gentleness in his eyes.

I sat down next to him on the sofa, and cuddled him.

I kissed the top of his head ever so gently and rubbed his stomach.

"I love you Seto"

"I love you too Brice"
