I squeezed my eyes before opening them, blinking a bit as I took in the sights around me, light flooded the room and everything looked, dull.

“You're awake!” I heard a voice purr. I looked up and was startled to see Chat looking down over me. I shot up from where I rested. “Relax, school isn’t for another hour, ish.” I stumbled getting up.

Chat got up to help me stabilize. “Hey, are you okay? You didn’t look well earlier.”

“Yeah, I’m fine, I just shouldn’t pull two all-nighters in a row.”

Chat’s eyes widened. “Well, if you had told me that you had already pulled one all-nighter I wouldn’t have let you pull another in a row.”

“It’s fine, I’m sorry that you had to deal with me.”

“No, it’s fine, I care about you so I don’t mind, I just want you to be safe.” If he knew what's happening to me, I’d probably laugh out loud but he didn’t so I just smiled and thanked him.

The week rolled by and I completed the dresses. The posters were hung up as well and me and Bella did a fairly good job on them if I do say so myself.

It was finally Friday and I thought it would be fun to visit my Grandpa.

I stepped up to his door and gave a sharp knock on the wood. I heard a muffled ‘Go away on the other side.

“Um, hey Grandpa? It’s me, Marinette.” I laughed awkwardly, I'm most certainly talking to the door.

“Oh! Marinette.” I heard a shuffle on the other side and the door creaked open. “Bad time.” was all he said before shutting the door.

“O-oh.” I was taken aback. “Alright then? When is a good time?”

The door swung open again. “Not now.” and it closed again with a slam. I nodded in understanding and turned away from the door.

I started my way down the street taking a long detour home, I passed the warehouse and as I passed, the door opened just enough that it was hardly noticeable but my ears picked it up. I looked back at it, hesitating but still made my way in.

“Hello?” I called and the door shut behind me.

“I want an update.” the man stepped into view.

“Why? It’s not even close to the full moon.”

“Yeah, but I want one so shoot, have you narrowed anything down? Or are you just pretending so I don’t kill you now?” I held my tongue.

“I’m not going to tell you that.” Looked away, my legs turning to jello, my brain starting to go into panic mode, I’d be screaming right now if I could. The man could see through my facade.

“Okay, so, you’d have no qualms if I slashed your throat right now?”

I stood my ground, my lip shaking but I managed to steady my voice enough to talk. “No, I wouldn’t be able to think, I’d be dead.” he nodded.

“Alright, well what if I did that to.” he checked his phone with my data. “Alya?” My eyes widened for a split second.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

“T, you greatly underestimate me.” Confusion flashed across my face. “That’s what you asked me to call you, is it not?”

“No, no, you’re right, on only that.”

“Well, I wouldn’t say only that, I’m right on things such as werewolves should be extinct for the safety of others.” I opened my mouth to argue but I snapped it shut when I saw the insanity glimmer in his eyes.
