while swiping through her Instagram feed.

she had just saw a
video of a dog jumping into water.
little things made mia smile
a lot.

as she continued to scroll
she came upon a tiktokroom post.
mia wasn't the type to stay
into other people's drama
because it wasn't her place.

but this post was definitely for her.

her stomach dropped
as her face began to heat up
she read along the lines of the post.

it was vinnie texting into the
sway house groupchat.

he seemed to be having a conversation with kio though.

"sheesh pretending to love someone is hard bru." vinnie texted the groupchat.

"vinnie i still dont think this is right ab what your doing to mia , she seems to rlly like u." kio had responded to the text.

"kio- just nvm." vinnie seemed to be done with their conversation.

mia's hand went over her mouth
as she shook her head.

soon enough her phone started buzzing.

mia sat on her bed crying into her pillow.

she really loved vinnie and to read those words broke her heart. she didn't know why she allowed herself to fall for someone like him , she blinded herself from all of the flaws he carried.

she heard her mom call for her. she huffed and threw her pillow to the ground stomping down stairs.

"hun someone's at the door." her mom didn't even acknowledge the fact her daughter had been crying.

mia rolled her eyes and pulled the door open to see vinnie standing there and nervously playing with his keys.

his eyes met with hers as she looked away and waved at her neighbors as they drove by.

"What do you want ?" She stepped outside and closed the door.

Vinnie sighed and tried to grab the girls hand but she pulled away and gave him a look before sighing.

"Vincent , you tell me what your here for or leave." She smacked her lips.

The boy could tell she wasn't in a good mood.

"Listen..Mia none of that is true okay ? I really do love you , and people are just making up lies because their jealous!" He made up even more lies.

Mia looked him up and down and shook her head.

"Vinnie think right now ! The text says it all ! " she yelled.

He opened his mouth trying to say something but it didn't come out.

Her head shook and her eyes filled with tears.

"Vinnie you never loved me. Why? Why would you sit there with me. " Her eyes met with his.

He didn't respond , he felt bad.

She nodded her head and took off the hoodie she was wearing which was his and gave it to him.

"I'll drop the rest of your stuff off tomorrow. I don't deserve your half ass apology."

She walked inside and sighed following her trace back upstairs.
